  1. Can't help you on the wax & wicks, use paraffin but I can give you my opinion on double wicking for a fundraiser! I used to use the apothecary jars and I hot glue my wicks. Well, on really large fundraisers by the time I double wicked the jars, this was after putting them on template to get wicks even, then I use the bars to hold the wicks-thus 2 bars per jar. Well, I was totally worn out just from wicking and it is so time consuming! I finally told fundraisers no more apothecary jars, only jars that are single wicked and they had no problem with that. Just my "sage" advice. haha

  2. I have tried SEO and it used to be a big help. I used Yahoo but when they went with MS & Bing didn't have nowhere near the results. Using Google now but it still wasn't as good as Yahoo. I did craft shows in past but they were not that great. There are no really good ones close enough for me and besides, to old to start again with them!

  3. Well I don't pormote like a lot do on FB. Just don't have the creativity (?) to do so! I live in a town where there are practically no one that buys candles and I don't have a store so I mostly have to depend on my website. I changed my name but sent out newsletter to my customer list but I guess they are like me - broke haha

  4. Was just browsing and came across this website - onlyfragrance.net. They say they are in Atlanta, and are a manufacturing firm. Was just wondering if anyone had heard of them. Their oils are priced low since they are new.

  5. Marcuset I did the same thing and just have PP on my website. In my opinion it is way cheaper and I personally prefer using PP when I am shopping at other sites. My CC processing was just getting to expensive. It was the one I started out with when I first started in 04 and just never changed or tried to find cheaper.

  6. I'am with Stella on this, especially the silver one with the design that circles the pillar. To me it looks like the mold. As far as the velvet looking one it made me think of the sugar frosting dazzle dust you can get from aroma haven. If you get it done just right to me it sorta has a velvet look to it. I have some and have tried it.
