Love the butterfly!
I was thinking of having my guy puts a rose on my votives but it seems like a lot of work and expense.

Thanks everyone. So I assume you all have multiple size wicks at your disposal. I purchased my wicks from CS and according to their guide, based on the size container I am using, they recommended an ECO 10. So I guess it would be smart to have some ECO 8 and ECO 12 on hand in case I need to wick up and down...
It's best to start with a sampler pack when you really aren't sure what size to even start testing with. There are so many variables. Sometimes I'll go one up and one down (burning all at the same time) just to see the difference in how they burn.
I can see this will be an expensive hobby LOL.ooOO You have no idea what you're getting into

I stack them then roll in cello. Tape the bottom and tie off the top.

I was told at one time that we're not supposed to send anything scented... don't know if it's in fact true, but might want to check on it...

I've been making candles for a few years now, but I've had to start looking into candle warmers because open flames aren't allowed in my dorm. I've seen a lot of brands mentioned here, but you also might try looking into safecandle.net. A guy next door to me has a candle warmer and his room always smells like the cranberry candle he uses. Better than BO, I guess.
ooOO another hit for Sentsy

I couldn't really say as I rarely mess with containers. IMO containers seem to give a stronger throw than pillars do in general, probably because container wax holds more FO and has more of a melt pool. You might be able to do votives out of container wax but I'm not sure you'd be able to get them out of the mold. Container wax isn't supposed to shrink away from the sides like pillar wax does. Waxes designed for votives is in between kinda. My experience from store bought candles over the years, votives just aren't going to give as much of a hot throw as a larger candle of any kind since it's the hot wax in the melt pool that gives the scent out and votives have a smaller surface and melt pool. I'm sure others will have different opinions from mine too

I use paraffin only. For votives I use my pillar wax and wick pins.

Lucky resident, that's beautiful. My guys birthday is on Valentive's Day too!

Very pretty

Maybe try asking over in the wickless section? I've no idea what kinda blocks you're referring to, sorry.

Oh, ok... that one is different.

very cool looking!

You're not shipping FO, but scented lotion. Anything the FO is mixed with changes the flash point and I would imagine the flashpoint of lotion to be very high and the very small amount of FO in it negligible. Mixed together you don't need to worry about it, IMO

Personally I'd rather not mess with soy...
Waiting for the rose mold to show up is killing me! May have to go play with the daisy instead.

Ninety percent of my baby bears are requested in lavender. I guess to relax new mommy and baby...

Thanks for the nice words! Last couple I tried came out a mess. Back to the drawing board...lol

That's good to know! I was told it had something to do with being out in a combat zone and not using anything that could give away their location. It was probably an "urban legend" type thing...lol
