  1. I noticed last night that my pot of 4625 was cloudy. Usually I just dip from it, but had pulled it closer and tipped it to put the whole thing on the scale. When I did, I got a good look in it. The cloudiness isn't even like a fog, more like hundreds of small clouds, and it was suspended throughout. I'm wondering if this could have something to do with my fingernailing/bubble problem lately. Also what caused this. Has anyone ever seen this before?

  2. It 4625, like I usually use. Most everything now sems to bubble/fingernail, no matter what I try. I used the rest of the pot for the bears and melted some 1343 this time. I'm about ready to toss that damn 4625, and I know it's just me...lol

  3. That would probably be a good idea if there was a "recipe". Unfortunately there isn't. What works for one person may not even work for them the next time, let alone work for someone who is somewhere else. Temp, humidity, manufacturer of supplies... there are too many variables to even count. Not to mention that the majority of it is a matter of preference. We had some very helpful threads for new people on the board that just crashed. Hopefully they will be archived soon. There were also generalized instructions on how to do different techniques on a sidebar on the left. Things like, marble, layering, hurricanes, chunks, etc... maybe Alan (from Peaks Candle supplies and the admin here) will have that back soon too. If you like the candles you see here now, whats in the archives will knock your socks off! We're still kinda getting used to our new home here, but will help with what we can :)

  4. They're not real fancy but I like 'em. I used calmshells for molds. Goats milk M&P scented spiced tangerine with a touch of paprika. The color in the pic is more what I wanted. In person, they're almost a salmon color

  5. If my camera took clearer pictures up close you could see them better. And I picked the side they showed the least...lol. Those small curvesin the lines are supposed to be straight. The bubbles underneath make them lighter like the lines :o
