My sugar did not settle, must of been the steric
-
I don't know of a larger malibu! I just sell 4 oz. bottles right now. Probably should get some 8 oz. but they send people over to the vendor's shop after they have used the scrub and the people like buying the 4 oz. size. If you find the bigger malibu's let me know so I can sell them to the salon.

You can probably use Cetyl. I don't know if you use the same amount as steric though.

Yes, so I use other items for shelf life but grapeseed oil is great for the skin.
-
Yes, awful! I took her out of my bookmarks too.
-
I am looking for boxes that have a window on the side so my bath bombs can be displayed
-
I found out the hard way!

Can I replace with liquipar and cetyl instead of steric? Not sure how much liquipar to use though.
-
So you just get black tea? I will have to check out where to find fish oil. Sounds wonderful.
-
wow, I have a bunch of cetyl and did not know what to use it for, duh, lol

Grapeseed oil is very good to use.

yes, those are nice and less expensive. I needed the square shaped since the shop I have my stuff likes more of the rustic look.

I tried the coconut oil to my soy wax and it worked very nicely! Thanks

This is true. I want to keep the same quality candle and I always pour past the first lip in the jar. Maybe go up a dollar. I think people will understand since evverything is going up these days.

I think I will start selling my 8 oz. mason with soy wax for $9.50. I usually have them at $7.50 and sell with no problem.. The $7.50 price was a lot lower than most candle makers around here. With wax going up from $40 something to $60 something for 50 lbs., I have to raise my prices. I see 10 oz. candles going for $14.00.
-
your welcome, now to figure how much to charge since soy went up lol
-
I sell mine in malibu's and they are not thin nor too thick

I sell my soy wax candles for $7.50 for an 8 oz. mason jar. NOw that the price of soy has really jumped, wondering how much I should sell them for now. I realize I could try to figure this up but thought I would ask what you guys are selling yours for now.

Just thought I would share with you guys how I am making my candle chunks now. I seel tart warmers in bags for my vendor's booth and I started using the silicone ice cube trays. They come two in a set and make 4 (7 oz.) bags. I usually use two trays per scent. These are great when you have extra wax left over also so you can bag up and make as you go also. They pop right out. They are an ounce a cube. I use to use a cookie sheet to pour my wax in but this is much faster for me. I sell a ton of tart candles in chunks or cubes at the shop.

Very pretty soap! I have to get a slab mold. I think swirling would be easier for me with a slab mold.

If I had the time I would do a co-op for this (emu Oil. maybe somebody will be able to do this some day. Looks like this web site listed above does co-op

I sell my massage oil in an amber 8 oz. bottle with pump. The scrub I make would pump also. I use a scrub receipe I got on here and add an extra tbsp. of oil than what the receipe calls for.
