  1. I have been mixing 6006 and ez soy and it is great. cheaper to mix two, saves on cost but nice to have it already mixed. DP morris is high and so is the shipping. Unless, I am looking at it wrong. I wish I was closer to them so I could go pick it up. Let me know if they have 50/50

  2. I did very well at my craft show this last weekend, however, out of about 40 vendors, there were 2 selling candles, so needless to say, most of the money I made in sales was from candles. I had to remake more for the next day and used 1/2 and 1/2 so that they would cure faster since selling so fast. They did not mind that they were not all soy.

  3. I have been blending the 6006 at first 50/50 hwich is great but wanted to keep more to the soy that I advertise so blending 2 to 1 (2 lb.s soy and 1 lb. 6006.). I use the Ultra wicks from Fil Tec wicks. I love them. Even in straight soy that have one heck of a hot throw and the wicks don't move when burning. I love them.

  4. I made some tonight and pulled them out of the molds before they cooled all the way then stuck them in an insulated cooler to finish cooling down. The bubble wrap around the molds seems to help bring out the stars better for some reason. Keeping them warm after taking out of the molds helps the stars pop out also. I have a silicone pillar mold that I pour into also, and it comes out of them nicely. The metal ones are stinkers but if I take them out while still warm, it is easier. The feather wax is so much easier to work with.

  5. I take the star burst out of the mold before all the way cooled down, then bubble wrap it and let it sit until cooled. This way I can get the candle out of the mold. I don't have any problem with the feather wax coming out. I cover my molds with bubble wrap before pouring and then cover over the top of them so they can cool down slower. The star burst burst more this way and the color really pops out. I made pumpkin spice and colored with orange chips and one was not covered and one pillar was cover with bubbble wrap before. the one with bubble wrap turned a darker orange and the one without wrap was a yellowish color.
  6. Hello,

I have always just used Ez soy and now trying 6006 wax. I believe 6006 is already an 80/30 mix. I have been reading where a lot of you like to mix 50% EZ with 50% 6006. I use the 8 oz. square mason jars. Should I use the CD12 or 14 with this wax or and LX 22? I also have ultra wicks that I could try. I am at the last minute here trying to figure this out since i am unable to get the 50/50 where I bought it before. I used CD12 in 50/50 wax before. I usually only pour about 1 oz. per lb. of wax. Appreciate some help. I usually have more time to test more. Thanks. Deb

  7. I am packaging 2 oz. bottles with 6 reeds. I thought that I would sell them for $10.00 each. On your refill bottles, do you also add half diffuser base and half oil? I use HG. thanks. Deb:)

  8. what do you usually charge for your firestarters? I made some with rolled up kraft packaging paper (the thick bumpy type) and tied them with a wick. I did not know if .50 was too much each. They are about 4 to 4 1/2 in long.
