  1. If you put enough veg glycerine in them to roll them up and slice they won't get hard. been almost 24 sitting out and still soft. Maybe I can just put them in molds like bath bombs without having to add more veg glycerin and hope they pop out of mold. I love the rolls but they don't harden for me.

  2. thank you. I will check it out. Do they sell smaller sizes to try? I wonder if that is the same as I used before. sounds like it. There are some places that sell wax calling it 50/50 that I have seen. I am thinking of getting the 6006 wax. I believe it is a blend to. Decisions Decisions, lol

  3. If you store in shoe boxes or cardboard boxes, do you leave the lids off or put the lids on with air holes poked in? I didn't know if the cardboard absorbed the scents or not. I currently have mine in plastic storage boxes but finding out that they want to sweat so I am putting the lids on part way so the air will get in. As far as wrapping the cured soaps, I am using soap boxes right now. I have several Dan's bands but I am afraid they will sweat.

  4. I found this receipe for a Bath Oil and going to try tonight. It calls for:

    2 oz. Polysorbate 80 or 20

    8 oz. sweet almond oil

    .5 oz of essential oil

Vit E (optional if will be sitting for few months) .08 Vit E for 16 oz.

Says the Polysorbate make the oil disperse into the water and helps prevent an oily bath tub. You can also use apricot, grapeseed (but has a nutty odor so may not mix well with your scent), or other light oils.

  5. Since I have the wood lined mold with dividers, I should be able to just put the lid on, wait 30 minutes, then cut, right? I found after making my first batch of soap that the soap was getting very thick and hard to put into the mold. Did I stir too long before adding the salt? makes it hard to have smooth, pretty bars, when thick while pouring. lol.

  6. I read somewhere where the soap may not meet the full trace but who knows. I have had that problem in this cold weather. I started spritzing the top of my soap before putting the lid on and it helped. Don't know if it was the alcohol spritzing or the temperature was better or the trace was better, lol, but I don't vary from the way I make soap so I am thinking the alcohol helped.

  7. I will be in a winter craft show in november and scentsy is there but i am still bringing my oils, oil warmers, tarts and candles there. iwasn't told i couldn't and if i was then i would not go to it. they can't let you not sell your things there too just cause scentsy will be there unless they are friends or something and not wanting the competition.

  8. I have several of the 1.5 ml air pump spray bottles that I got on the co op here and making up perfume body spritz with them. I was wondering what others charge for them. Also, what are others charging for a 4 oz. bottle. I use a perfume/spritz base (not cyclo) with f/o.
