  1. I couldn't afford a wax melter, so I cheated! I use 2 of the big $25.00 roasters from wally world & 3 presto pots. The roasters take way to long to melt the wax, so I melt my wax in the presto pots.... when melted I pour into the roaster... add more wax to presto's & start making candles. By the time that I have all of the roaster wax used, I have melted wax in the presto pots waiting to fill back up the roasters. Not as easy & a large wax melter.... but way less expensive.
  2. It is absolutely adorable Lin! I need one of those for an upcoming baby shower for my neice! Great job, as always!
  3. Lin, All I can say is that all three candles are absolutely amazing! They are just beautiful, excellent job!!! Do you mind my asking what you used for the date & the happy anniv. done in gold & how it was applied? If it's a secret, I totally understand.... But again, awesome work
  4. Thanks Jeff & Kerry.... I'll check & see how far Lonestar is from him. I'm afraid it would be out of the way though. He's working in Weatherford, Tx. But I appreciate your help.
  5. Can anyone tell me of several places in the Dallas / Ft. worth area, to find 1343 wax? My SNL is working in that area & it sure would save a bundle on shipping.... I know of lonestar & Taylor C's, is there anymore? TIA
  6. Donita, That is an awesome Cane & very informative directions as always! Thanks a million!
  7. Actually, it was me selling the molds! And they are awesome to work with....not a PITA at all. You pour your wax into mold, level it off with a plastic putty knife, cool bout 15 min., turn over & twist. They fall right out, seriously.....I love them. The main client that I used these molds for changed to a custom mold, so I'm selling off most of these. I am keeping 5 of them for myself though :rolleyes2 Those shown in the picture look like the size of a redhot, the ones I have are like a marble, but cut in half. Yes, you can blend & custom different scents.... It has been done for years. We use to have a place in the mall that sold the chips, (Wicks & Sticks) & you made your own blends...They were put out by http://www.scentchipsusa.com/ they have been making the chips for years. Just thought that I would share the info with you. :smiley2:
  8. Awesome Tucker! I wish that I could make a decent hurricane....I finally just gave up! Good luck on sales!
  9. Would you mind sharing where you purchase this FO from? My Dh has been after me for several years to find one.... A candle in the woods really scares me, But incense in the right container should be ok. TIA
