  1. I made all of these baskets on a whim. I was shopping with my mom who loves places like the goodwill and salvation army and i saw all these baskets and fake flowers. My DH said i should make baskets for people in our church. And here they are! The first one is hyacinth, pomegranate, and pumpkin vanilla. The pumpkin vanilla has way more products in it. Of course it was for the our pastor. Let me know what you think and thanks for looking!
  2. Really?! you think i should charge more? How much do you think? THANKS
  3. i was thinking of charging $40 for this basket. does that seem right?
  4. Can someone please translate the legalize(SP?) on that website. i do not understand if can or can not use what we download in our own products. There is an option to buy an extented license but again i just don't understand! help
  5. Thanks guys. I wanted to use clear label for the jars but the labels i bought weren't clear they had a frosted look to them. :undecided I will have to take them back tomorrow.
  6. What do you think? I know i need to work on the bag part. It looks terrible from the back.
  7. I was just looking around on the internet and came across these. How in the world would you go about making these? Is it painted on?
  8. OMG! There are beautiful! I have heard people say that palm wax is hard to deal with. Is that true?
  9. I just wanted to let you know that i took your advise and have been poking when it was pliable and it is working great! Thanks jcandleattic!
  10. After figuring out i that i was using way too much wax i came up with this. The first number is the amount of fo in oz and the second is the amount of wax in oz. This is for my 10 oz (which i only fill with 8 oz) and 16 oz apothcary jars. I hope this is right. .8/8=10% 1.6/16=10% .7/8=8.75% 1.5/16=9.3% .6/8=7.5% 1.4/16=8.7% .5/8=6.5% 1.3/16=8.1% .4/8=5% 1.2/16=7.5% .2/8=2.5% 1.0/16=6.2% i was using 10% with all my fo! oops!
  11. LX 10 and 12 wow i really must be blowtorching mine then. What % do you use?
  12. Wow, that is a long way to go from New your city. I did not like it when i first got here. i missed the grass and still do. The mountains are pretty though. I think i have some samples left over from lonestar. i will try that as well. Man i hate this testing! I need to slow down before i kill myself and my family with soot. i swear i blew my nose this morning and it was black!
  13. i am testing a couple of different scents right now and some or not reaching full mp and sooting bad no matter how much i trim and some are reaching full mp but drowning. i think i am using too much fo. i am using 10 and 16 oz apothecary jars which i should probably double wick. igi 4630 is the wax i am using but i am using 10% with all the fo's and LX 28 and 30's. TOP said those are blowtorches . i am going to redo them with lower fo %'s. Country, do you use this wax? any trouble with it?
  14. yup, i am dumping 10% into my 8oz and 16oz apothecary jars. I will try lowering the % and double wicking with smaller wicks. thanks guys!
  15. if you are out there.....please do.....i am just at a loss:embarasse
  16. Crap! I guess i have found wax for my wickless candles. what wick do you use with the 50/50?
  17. walmart had those really little glass jelly jars too. i think they are 4 oz.
  18. Yes! a nub! that is what i have. i should wick down? i guess i am confused about when to wick up or down. i thought since it was not going all the way to the edge that i needed to wick up some more. You know i have a lot of them at LX 28 and 30 already.
  19. where on peaks website does it say they are discontinuing the igi. I use the 4630.
  20. if you have a wick where the flames are getting smaller does that mean you wick up or down?
  21. on some of them it does not even go all the way to the edge of the jar. but soots like crazy. should i still wick down? Do you use this wax too? You live near a supplier! you lucky duck!! i live near snowdrift farms which would be great if i were into B&B!
