  1. I used to smell the same thing when I tried Eco wicks, weird
  2. I'm giving the CD10 another try...the candle on the left seems to be doing better then the candle on the right which was the 1st CD10 above when I first lit it. The jar still seems to be heating up too much even with the CD10, I really don't think an 8 will work but I will give it a try.
  3. Oh my...glad to hear you are ok and welcome back :smiley2:
  4. Way to go, and congrats on the fair.
  5. I know...I would love to know how they burned, actually I wish I could find those customers that are willing to spend that much for just one candle because I have some candles to sell them!
  6. I have never burned a Jo Malone candle becuase I'm not going to pay that much for something I can make myself but I do love smelling them and getting som freebee sample viles of her fragrances when I'm in Nordies.
  7. I love Jo Malone fragrances, I just wish I could afford them....lol
  8. Just checked out the site for Kringle candles, very interesting twist on the soy vs paraffin issue! :tiptoe:
  9. Pink Marsmellow sounds so yummy, and the soap looks great!
  10. I know, its weird how that happened and no I would not sell a candle that behaved like that, its way to inconsistant, but this is the only one I tried with the CD 10, I'm going to try a few more and see if it behaves better.
  11. Look at that...the CD10 perked up and started to kick butt! Very interesting how it struggled so much in the begining but seemed to gain strength as it burned.
  12. Looks great, the soap look great also. :smiley2:
  13. @Candybee....thats right, I forgot about Sea Island Grapefruit, I even have a sample of it in my closet full of samples...lol :smiley2: @Scented...I was thinking about using an EO but it is going to be for a candle and I have never really had any luck using EO's in candles, but might be a good idea for soap especially if its affordable. :smiley2:
  14. I use to get a Pink Grape Fruit & Sugar Cane scent from DS but they disco'd it awhile ago. Does anyone know of a great Pink Grapefruit scent out there in FO world? Thanks for any suggestions :smiley2:
  15. Has anyone tried the ones they have on sale?
  16. So here is the CD10 wick instead of the 12, it has been burning now for about 3hrs and it appears to me that it is starting to tunnel and may be struggling a bit. I'm going to burn it a little longer and see if it perks up. I hope this isn't a case of needing an in between wick size that isn't available, do they make a CD11?
  17. Oh noooooo...... Well I do need some 464 so at least I can justify the FO purchase!
  18. Blood Orange EO from New Directions Aromatics is the best orange scent I have smelled and its very affordable, but it is an EO
  19. Thanks Debbie, I'm definitly going to give the Hinoki Wood a try.
  20. Thanks asands, thats alot better price then $127.
  21. I'm going to order a lb of Cherry Blossom & Kiwi from MMS but I also want to try a few samples while I'm there, does anyone have any experience with the fo's below.... Hinoki Wood Crystal Blue Hibiscus Passion Hydrogen Love Muffin Mona Lisa Red Grape & Blueberry Pluot Alice ...thanks for any suggestions :smiley2:
  22. lol...:laugh2:I think we need to find better things to do on our lunch breaks!
  23. I ran to the Dollar Store today on my lunch break and this is what I found. They are actually very similar but not quite the same. I really like the smoke finish I think it would look pretty when its burning. I wouldn't mind using them but I wonder how often the Dollar Tree would have them or if they are able to order them when you need them.
