  1. I would like to try C&S Fo, and wondered if anyone has tried any and love them. I'm looking for some Christmas scents and a few bakery ones. I use JS 50/50 and 4794. Thanks! I get into routine and keep ordering from the same suppliers. I guess I'm afraid of making a mistake! UGH!
  2. Thanks I will give one of them a try!
  3. Hello!! Anyone know of a supplier that has a knock your socks off Iced Oatmeal Raisin cookie? I've tried ICS and can't get a super great hot throw. I use js 50/50 and 4794. Thanks!
  4. I love pineapplie upside down cake from NG!!! Super strong hot throw, sell a lot of these!!
  5. NG Pumpkin Crunch Cake is excellent in JS 50/50 . Love it!!
  6. Ok, now when I start rolling, is the wax going to be at the stage when it's a little sticky? I tried once with a paraffin blend and it started to crumbled. I know I waited to long to start rolling for sure. Thanks again
  7. Can anyone tell me what type of wax and technique is needed to make my own hand rolled cinnamon bun candles and votives. I use JS 50/50, and 4794. Only thing I do know is to pour my melted wax on a paper plate and set up, then roll it out and shape it like a bun. Is it that easy? Thanks everyone!!:smiley2:
  8. JS serendipity.... I thought had more of coconut base note, were Sex on the Beach was way more fruity.
  9. ICS is the best I think. My customers love it!
  10. I love Laura's embeds too! Check out her cute scarecrows!! Bought one set, my candles all sold, had to buy 2 sets to get me throught for awhile. Great service too.
  11. Thank you for your time, I appreciate it!! I'll pick one and give them a try!!!
  12. I have js, pumpkin pie spice, and pumpkin nog, love both, Pumpkin and Pralines is awesome, super strong in my js 50/50. sold a bunch all ready!!!
  13. In response to chris, what supplier do you like to use. I feel I get great smelling candles with js, ics, and ng, but would like to see what else is out there, and take the plunge on some higher price FO. Maybe this is the knock your sock s off hot throw I'm looking for in my darn tarts!!!
  14. Any suppliers you would recommend that are on the Higher side. Like BB? So the higher priced scents are better quality than js, ng, and ics?? Thanks
  15. I have been wondering why some suppliers oil's are so darn high. 16oz bottle for $20-22, 8oz for $ 15-16. I can buy from other places for $13 - 15 for 16oz and the FO are superb, like JS, Ind.Candle, Ng. Are they extra awesome, worth the money? I've thought of trying some, but afraid they aren't any better. Any thoughts on this?
  16. You talked me into it! BCN is it. Can't beat 9.99 for 16oz !! Thanks everyone.
  17. I need to put in a order and need pumpkin pie, I need other oils from Indiana and JS, anyone ever tried from either of them? Thanks
  18. Thanks, I might have to give it a try and see how close it is!!
  19. Hello everyone, I'm looking for this great scent, and haven't been able to find it. There's a candlemaker on ebay that uses this and would like to make some tarts with it!! Anyone familiar with italian rum cake?? Thanks:)
  20. Ok, I took the temp. of my melted wax in my electric burners after on for 2-3 hours, one was at 170 and the other at 180. Now that isn't too hot is it? I wouldn't think that would burn off my scent?? BUt I don't know for sure.
  21. From what I understand, adding crisco softens the paraffin, so you get a quicker melt pool. I'm adding it when my wax reaches it's temp. right before adding my FO. Anyone to add to that. Hope I'm doing correct!! LOL!
  22. Hello!! I'm looking for a great rum raisin, ICS no longer sells it, and haven't found one from other suppliers. Thanks bunches!!
  23. You know I had to look at my warmer, it has a tiny little bulb, never seen one so small, I guess when that burns out, that burner is done!! lol I'm not sure what the melt point is on 4794, mixing some 50/50 might just bring the melt pool down and help with the hot throw. So many thing to consider in candle making, who knew when we all ventured in this hobbie!!
  24. All great suggestion, I'm going to try mixing my 2 wax's and try my 4794 with the crisco, that has curiosity up!! As for the tart burners I use, they are all electric with a big burner, so it's melting the wax nicely and quick for a large melt pool.
  25. I'm so happy, thanks so much, I think this is the formula I'm looking for. Need to do some of our own blending!! I can't wait to experiment and let everyone know my results!!
