  1. Is it just a matter of saying "hi wanna exchange links" (maybe not that simple, but you get what I mean) and then putting them on your links page and they do the same for you? And do you link to companies who have the same products, different products, or both? TIA for your help. :smiley2:
  2. I use Blue Voda. I love it because I didn't have to use a template and I just created my own template with shapes. AND it is an offline builder. It does take getting use to and it took me some time to get it all figured out. I wasn't planning on getting up online till after the new year but caught on pretty quick on building my site so I got it up and running early. They have a forum to help you to which helps a lot. The only drawback is that you have to use VodaHost to put it online. There is no other option. For me, it is working great and I have no complaints at all.
  3. Aw man... I was thinking of blending a couple scent to come up with a reindeer poo. I will have to read their description to see if I was gonna come close. **ETA: I read it... and nope, I wasn't close! haha... but I love their little poem!
  4. There was a thread on here... I think titled "recycling fo's". Anyhow... I learned that if you have stored them properly and they smell fine and haven't "turned" then they are still good and that the fo companies say they "expire" so you buy more. Maybe do a small test of tarts or something to make sure they are good and if so... then you are set!
  5. I love Holly Jolly Christmas and Christmas Garland... thank you both for the help! Steph, I was not too pleased oob either... but I loved it once in wax. It is a bit green... some spice... and a touch of berry. Literally it's description. My hubby walked in and said it smells like Christmas. :smiley2:
  6. I am trying to think of a new name for Berts Christmas Holly.... anyone have any clever suggestions?? The scent description is "A spicy type greenery with just a touch of red berry". I love it ... but I think it will be looked over if it is simply Christmas Holly. TIA!
  7. I use their wax. :smiley2: I love it and keep paying for it even though there is cheaper out there. (And I have tried others without the same results). It has a melt point of 128 degrees and it throws like crazy. Most fo's work well with it... I have not personally ordered their tarts or a candle though so I can't help you on that. It may be worth a try though.
  8. I am trying to get an order together. I really do not need a new supplier but I desperately want to try Dream catcher. I am curious if anyone has tried their Fallen Leaves?? I would love to get a couple new scents for the holiday season.... Or how about Amish quilt? TIA!
  9. I get mine from GT Bags (the polypro bags). 3x3 as well ..and my labels cover the whole front side. I like them because sometimes I need to restore a scent that refuses to die out. I can just put it back into the bag and toss it in my melt drawer. I have looked into other option and keep going back to the bags. HTH
  10. Any new reviews on these 5 dollar oils?? TIA
  11. I like that bottle... And I love your maxi slippers! Thank you for the help! I have read every thread here about burner oils... I will always have wax melts as an option... but I get a lot of requests for oils. Doesn't bother me none considering the cost of wax and shipping. :undecided
  12. That is awesome! And how cool to show pics of everything. :smiley2: I read the entire article and loved it.... inspirational.
  13. That is exactly what I was curious about. I love the looks of the Amber...but cost and shipping to me is much higher than the plastic. Where do you get the flip tops from?? I will have to do some searching for those.... Do you use DPG for your oils...and if you do, do you notice a chemical smell at all? Thanks for your response... it is helpful!
  14. I don't want to beat this subject like a dead horse.... but am curious about a couple things. I have been testing these with olive oil and have been really happy with the results. How many others use olive oil? Have you run into any trouble using the OO? Also, what type of bottles do you use for resale? While I love the amber bottles.... cost wise, the plastic are a much better choice. Almost all oils I purchase are in plastic (with the exception of one company) and I have never had a problem with the oils going bad. Does anyone here sell them in the plastic bottles and if so... how do your customers react? Do they give a rats behind about the bottling? Thanks for the help! :smiley2:
  15. They cater to incense and oil sellers but the electric burners I think could be used for both. The tealight burners I bought have sufficient space in between the tealight and the melting cup (except for one style I got). As for the electric ones....The dish that sits on top is a nice distance from the bulb... and what I love about them is that they have dimmer switches, so you can control the heat/light intensity with the switch.
  16. These are the electric ones I got: http://www.scented.com/item181904.ctlg http://web.ivenue.com/lvcreations/item186639.ctlg http://web.ivenue.com/lvcreations/item186634.ctlg http://web.ivenue.com/lvcreations/item189677.ctlg http://www14.ivenue.com/lvcreations/item182908.ctlg They are all adorable. The crystal one is nice and heavy. I think the Amber colored one is my fav. They all came with removable dishes that sit on top. I think they would hold one of my tarts (which is .75oz by weight)... and they all came equipped with a bulb. In the pics they look larger than they are... (of coarse). I am very happy with them!
  17. I got my order... and not only were they super fast to ship, but the shipping was VERY reasonable. I got 28 burners and shipping was less than 10 dollars. And the burners are ADORABLE! I got several different electric and tealight burners and I love these electric burners. They look like nice quality burners and I love that they have a dimmer switch. Everything came boxed up perfectly for resale. I am very impressed with this company. Just wanted to share in case anyone was curious.
  18. I have purchased 100% soy from a company and the tops looked beautiful.... until it cooled after the first burn. Then it got that nasty "bloom". Same as when I was dabbling in soy. And the reason soy and I broke up. hahaha
  19. I love it! I got some after another person mentioned doing a review for it.... It is a very clean scent.... it lasts and lasts too. I made it in a tart and that thing is still going strong a third day. I have moved it to a bedroom at this point. Everyone's descriptions seem to be right on. It reminds me of salty sea air...but different (must be the cactus... haha). It is awesome though! And a new fav of mine.
  20. Yep.. this one is great! It is beautiful... and has a GREAT ht. :smiley2:
  21. This is great to hear! I was curious about their oils as well. Thank you for sharing!
  22. Everyone gave me such good ideas... :highfive: This is what I am going with... Equal parts: Frankincense and Myrrh (CS) Witches Brew (ICS) Cinnamon and Sandalwood (tcsource) vanilla sandalwood (JS) I q-tipped these oils, put them in a jar, opened it today to sniff, and it is WITCHY! I love it. Thanks for all the help... I am very appreciative. Now I get to come up with a clever witchy description :smiley2:
  23. I love these! They remind me of gift shops in Oregon (along the coast) that sell cool "sea side" gift items and salt water taffy to tourists. These candle would be a "must buy" for me... but I would never want to burn them because of how good they look. :smiley2:
  24. That was what I thought too... but that is because I LOVE cow prints... I can definitely see it as a "tuxedo" as well.
