Yep, just got my first Christmas shopper yesterday! Nice sale $118...:smiley2: and 2 website orders. Early, but I'll take it!
-
I get mine from www.theribbonretreatwholesale.com or www.jkmribbon.com they might have what you want. Get on their email list and they have sales ALL the time...I never have paid the full price. hth

What about some of Just Scents Pumpkins? I used the Frosted Pumpkin last year, but wanted something different...smelled to much like my Carrot Cake from MC. Anybody have any remarks about the Pumpkin Cookie Crunch or the Pumpkin Pie Spice?
-
What'cha callin' that Brenda? Sounds delish!
-
I am getting ready to place an order. Anybody have reviews about the throw, yumminess, or other features about this scent?
-
I thought about adding soy to it to improve the CT...couldn't smell the tart at all compared to my blend....HT did seem OK though. Do you get much CT with this wax?
-
I have tried EVERYTHING to make MC Cin Sticks keep burning. They will eventually get dimmer and dimmer. I am a power burner though, so really, if you can keep it burning for 4 hours I guess that's good. That's all they should burn it for anyway!
-
Just got a sample....will let you know as soon as I try it out!
-
No, you can't trust the customer! I buy mine from papermart.com They are the best price for what I need. You will want the polypropylene. They will not absorb the scent.
-
hmmm....I was told 5000 minimum from Wicks Unlimited..
-
Stella, not sure if you mean me...lol. I'm Dana and the wicks I was talking about are the CDN's. I have decided to stick with the CD's in this application due to the mushrooming I got anyway from the CDN's by wicking up a size to get a full m/p. What a waste of 3 weeks! Oh well, maybe the CDN's will work in another jar/wax combo.

I got a bunch...wasn't really happy with the way they sit in the socket. They are a little to heavy to sit straight. I was going to return them, but switched to different sockets and some work better than others. Has anyone else had this problem? And, yes they come with 15W bulbs. HTH

I have used both. The throw seems great in both, but you will notice a difference in other qualities. Wicking is easier with the 4630, IMO. Set up is different, and 4630 leaves the jar clean whereas 6006 leaves a slimey residue. You will have to test yourself to see which quirks you can live with and which you can't. hth:)

I am finding that between these two companies, the same wicks are burning 2 sizes different! That makes a HUGE difference in a burning candle!
-
Well, I found it! RE/AH has a Pumpkin Pie Spice that smells like what I am after. I got it in wax (6006 and soy) and let it sit for 2 days.....no throw! Does anyone get a good throw from this one or do I just need to let cure for a bit longer?

What is CBL 129? Where do you purchase it? Never heard of it before!
-
You know, I never thought of that! I didn't get a chance to call them yesterday, so I will ask them today what coating is on their sample wicks. THANKS A BUNCH!

I have been testing wicks from these two suppliers. I was told by Wick It that they both get theirs from the same source. Well I just about had it figured out thinking I needed a CDN 12 after testing WU's. I received samples from WI and their CDN 12 are weaker than CDN 10 from WU. Make sense? Anyway, they even look different. They are a bit darker in color. Does anyone know if they both get their wicks from the same source? I will call them today and tell them what I have discovered. Of course I will let everyone know what they say!

I just ordered AH/RE Pink Sugar Type. I will let you know in a day or two

I just received the Hot Toddy. To me oob it smells like Millcreeks "Grandma's Kitchen"...NOT like a toddy! But I will get it in wax tomorrow to see. LOVED the Mrs. Clauss' Cookies, and Potpourri Spice! The Buttercream Cupcake and Eggnog smelled yummo too. I hope a few of these meet my expectations. I bet I have poured and tested 25 new fragrances from various suppliers in the last couple of months...only found a few keepers.

I just started testing The Candlemakers Store's f/o's. I have tested a few and so far it's hit and miss. The Sweet Potato Souffle was pretty good, along with the Coffee Caramel Creme. I also like the Pumpkin Cornbread. I wouldn't say they are super duper strong though even though I got the A grade.

How do you get the melted wax from the roasters into your pour pots? Do you lift that big thing and pour, or did you install a spigot?
-
I ordered mine with what warning info I wanted. I think you better call them. They have GREAT customer service!
-
Well, I have been looking for a Pumpkin Pie like theirs.....it smelled just like pumpkin pie! I have one tart left that I have been saving, so I can get a sniff every now and then. I have tried many, many, different pumpkins....to no avail. Does anyone remember their PP and know of another supplier?
TIA:smiley2:
I'm stumped...

Jen, I would have test burned for a longer period of time. 3 hours isn't long enough. I always test mine for at least 4 if not 5 to 8 hours...just because that is what a typical person would burn for. The CD 18 on the left might just work out if you burn it for a longer period of time. How long did you burn the others?
