    I haven't used that wax nor that fo, but maybe a 51 z will work, a lot have said they use that size in a 8 oz jj. this site " wick suggestion site" might help. http://server.com/WebApps/db-view.cgi?id=71493

    If there had been more wax, it would have been better, the picture is actually clear , it just bleared in pix. LOL! yes sun its addicting, just like so many other things on this board. and just not enough time, how you ladies make 100's of candles and sell them , i don't know, you sure have to be busy. Geek this was wasn't nothing but playing around as welll as learning, not to be used anywhere. LOL! noway could i ever get good like Donita. next one will be with the right mold and wax.

    Yes, i see and know all my boo-boo but i'm just playing around here, need more wax. didn't have as much as i thought, just plain pariffin. mostly trying to get the hang of embedding the picture, do you all think there is any potential here, even a slight chance of a possibly that i might be able to make thes with the correct items, this mold was a cut off clorox bottle:D

    LOL! Sharyl i have been looking thru the house for something like you said to play with on these, everything i found had a ridge or something, but a cool whip bowl would be good, think i get the large container while i'm out today, we love cool whip so no waste i so much appreciate this board and the helpful people on it. have good day all.

    Peaks is all sold out of the 5x6."5 round hurricane mold, rest of them are small sizes:( i really want a large one. darn my luck.

    Thanks Hem... that way out my budget too. this is just a fun thing for me. kycandle is close ( one day shipping) and the 4 1/2 inch round ones are $7.50

    I was wanting me a couple size of the molds like everyone is useing for the hurricanes, if michael's has them i could let my son pick be up a couple size's . the store is close to him... and he's coming home this weekend.

    very pretty, i really like the way you made the edges around the picture. I'm hoping to learn how to make them before christmas, so i can make one for each of my kids. what size mold is everyone useing ? 4' round.

    Good post, i have been wanting to try some of these bags, to use up some of the Fo's i got burnt on at a place, thought they might be ok to play around with on these bags, but haven't beeen able to find some corn cob to test, but i did see the cat littter moonrose was talking about, if its the same they look like blue & white crystals/ beads.

    Thanks, yes i thought a votive cup for sure, Devara and in a large container, i didn't think the wax with the embedded photo would melt , unless it was a smalll jar, i know i have seen something like this somewhere or a while back. was wanting to try making these, but had no mold just some nice large smooth round containers, guesss i will have to wait and order me a mold.

    Make a photo embedded candle, without the seamless mold ? by using something else? let me try to explain what i mean. say like a clear round or square ( large) glass container. i think it would look real pretty if you made it like you do using the mold but leave in the container, if this could be done i think the glasss would be pretty and it could be decorated on outside at top. Ok go ahead and tell me how dumb this question was LOL! but i still want your opinions on it

    Peaks Kycandle ... good plus i can get my order the next day because its closer to me, scents for soy... only one that had northeren star, and it smellls great. but like peaks it took almost 2 weeks for my order to reach me.

    I have bought lotion from mary Kay's that is called "Kisses by candlelight' i love the smell as well as the name. the lady i bought it off said they , still make it but renamed the lotion. " candlelight kisses sounds good too.

    Thanks, Electricity has been off here today, do to heavy rains. cindylou, i found out the hard way about the difference in better quality FO's some last awhile longer but the smell isn't as good , on about the 3th. day. i had fruit slices in my bathroom and on about day 3 the smell wasn't good as the first day. but this was one of my not so good quality FO. not cheap in price tho. i just thought i had read on here somewhere ( or the old place) that i tart should smell good for 8 hrs. i'm keeping notes on the ones that smell good the longest.
