1. Just bumping this up. 2 spots are still available. Supplier samples and door prizes have arrived. The suppliers have been very generous! I am very excited and look forward to meeting everyone who has signed up! I will be pm'ing everyone over the weekend with details.
2. Here is my new Lavender Collection Palm Pillars. All scents are custom blended. Lavender Rose(Color:Lavender) Tangerine Lavender(Color:Tangerine) Grapefruit Lavender(Color:Pale Yellow)
3. I will join the Bert Boat! Great in CB135 and Palm wax!
4. :bump: Bumping this up to see if anyone knows if AH is really discontinuing these?????????
5. This is the only price increase I can find: http://faq.usps.com/eCustomer/iq/usps/request.do?session={e776e930-0508-11dd-c40a-000000000000}&event=1&view()=c%7B52eabcb0-efa5-11dc-67fc-000000000000%7D&objectId=&eksObjectId=&objectType=Case&isJumpEnabled=false&isContentJumpEnabled=false&vendorKey=&objTitle=&versionId=381
6. It was confusing because the email title was this week at the scent works, but the sale was for one day only.
7. This sale was for one day only.
8. This surprises me. I have talked with Tish on the phone before and she was very professional. The only thing that bites is that we can't pickup! I guess they run the business out of their home and do not want customers coming and going. I know several other smaller FO companies stopped pickups. I am sure you can run into all sorts of problems having customers coming to your home unannounced, etc.
9. I think the TSW 15% off sale was for yesterday only???????
10. Relief holes are not necessary. I think pouring at the lower temp will solve those problems. As far as the mushrooming, what wicks are you using? HTP, LX, or CD's will give you the least mushrooming.
11. I have never tried CBA, but have been using CB135 for over 2 years and do not experience the appearance problems you are describing. I do get mushrooming with the wicks but this is typical with most soy waxes. As far as appearance I get smooth tops and for the most part they are smooth after burns. I pour just as the wax starts to cloud, not sure of the temp because I no longer check that.
12. I don't, but have a friend that does! I have warned her I want some soap....LOL!
13. I just got my order and immediately put the patchouli honey in wax! I am a patchouli lover and this one is awesome! A must try for even you patchouli haters. The honey gives a nice sweetness to it. I also poured juniper & aloe and sun & sand in wax. I will update once I burn. Awesome customer service!
14. I have and it is a nice scent, more chocolate oob. But once in the wax it has a totally different smell that is hard to describe. The chocolate is still there, just not as powerful, the other notes come through nicely in the wax. Sorry, not much help describing it but it is a nice unique scent. Strong in CB135 @ 7.5%

17. I actually heat the glass at the new layer until it releases from the sides of the glass. It does not take long so the container does not get hot enough to affect the cooled layer.
18. I heat the jars for the first layer. Once this layer is cooled I then pour the next layer @ 195-200. The glass is not heated so once I pour the next layer I heat gun the layer I have just poured, turning the glass until it releases from the sides of the glass and liquefies again. Next time I make one I will take pics of the process and post.

21. For the most part this was is a one pour wax. I have found though that most containers 3+ inches do need to be double wicked. Layering the containers does help with the air pockets. I also have found that if you do want to poke relief holes and not want to have a re pour line do this: Pour your main color and leave about 1/2-1 inch space. Poke relief holes several times during the cooling process, then once the candle cools poor a contrasting color to fill. I heat the top layer with the heat gun to obtain the crystal affect. They look really nice too!
