Hey slycat, where i Mich. are you at. I am in Mich. too. Where is your craft show going to be? I am in Lansing and have not done craft shows doing soap but i use to paint on sweat shirts and take them to craft shows. It is hard only to set up and to take down. But can be lots of fun. Some times the craft show has a something you can use to get your stuff to your spot. Not most of the times. Let us know how you do. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the help at color chosen. Thanks carrie for the start. The violet is a big yes. I think i will get basic colors so i can mix to get bunchs of other. Plus some you can't mix to get. Lets have fun getting colors.

I have never used color before and shutterbug is running a coop for colors. What are your fav and what ones do you not like? Give me a helping hand and tell all. Oh, and what colors morf. Thanks for the help.

Do you all really cook those bath cookies? I have never seen a recipe for them? Please someone point me in the right direction ....... They do look like turtles

I know of an e-tailer that has something like this. I love her scrubs and would love to figure out how to make some of my own. I believe she takes a foaming bath cream base and whipped sugar into it, adding in some oils and such. If you want to check her out it's www.isleofeden.com

WOW!!!!!!!! Soapmaker Man those are some really nice molds. I have been tring to get every friends husband to make me a mold. Who makes those they are purtdy.

Took it out of the mold today and it was all oily gave it the zap test and no bit so i guess it is the fo leaking out of soap. What do you all think. edit for saying thank you about the abv. and all the comments every one has.

It seems like a good idea but, with it in powder form or almost it wouldn't have much bulk to it. What i mean is 8 oz. of bath salt looks like alot but grind it up and it will look like a small amount. Even if the oz are on the package. Maybe I'm wrong, would not be the first time.

What is or who is NG's sorry don't know many suppliers yet. Thank for the info. I have not worked with those yet. Not sure where to get colorings and what kind to use. I don't want to spend money on colors that don't turn out right.

This is the first my soap batch has riced. I guess I belong now. I love lilac and this is just for me. I took a look last night before I went to bed and it did jell so I think it is going to be alright. I will cut it a little later. Did not get a chance to color so it is just going to be white. Thank for you alls in put.

I have used parchment bakers use it and it would be in the same isle as the wax and sandwitch bags. If you have a problem ask the meat man if they have it for sale. Not sure how much help i was either. Good luck.

Thanks so much for chiming in. yup so that is what riceing is. I love lilac tooo. I made it just for myself [maybe that was the problem] lol That is sad because i like flower smells. I hope the soap works out ok. Thanks again
