  1. I could really use some help. Why did you pick the printer did you get or want??? Laser or ink jet or something else?????
  2. I like them to. Has anyoone tried snow drift farms???? and if so what do yu think of there bottles and service. They have some stuff cheaper than bayousome and was wondering.
  3. I really like lilac from Camden grey. It smells like you are standing right next to a full bush of lilacs. I ran out and seen the post and thought I might try someone else but I am not sure that i would like it as well. Good luck finding the right one.
  4. Could I ask where you sent your lotion to have it tested. You must have a great lotion recipe to withstand that kind of testing. Good for you.
  5. I melted it and added 2 oz E-wax. Same temp. I let it cool on its own, took like forever....... But it is saved. I have so much I plan on giving alot of it away. Thanks for all the help. JO

  8. Man I hate to trash it so many nice oils. Well ppooo. I guess i will be a little more carefull about using a recipe off a web sight. I can't remember the sight either. Thanks so much for the help.
  9. I guess you really did change the recipe. Yes i did try it and liked it but thought it could use something more and i guess you found what it needed. I got into making cream soap. I must give this a try. Thanks for doing all the hard work. JO
  10. Looks real nice. My son inlaw is in need of lotion for his feet, they are dry and craked. Maybe i can make this for him. Thanks for posting the recipe. What were they wanting you to make for them?? Good luck with it.
  11. Thanks so much. Could I heat it back up and add extra E-wax?? Not sure what it needs. Or Should I just reheat?
  12. Yup, it was all melted and about 110 degrees wen I frist started to mix.
  13. I started with 110 degree about for both. Should it have been hotter. It did look like it was ok. Maybe I tryied to cool it off to soon. What do you suggest??? Can I heat it back up?? Did the recipe look ok... Thanks so much for helpping
  14. I hope some one can help me. Here is the recipe; 24 oz. of butter I used mango. 18 oz oils of choice 2.2 oz stearic acid 6.6 oz E-wax 32 oz distilled water 3 oz glycerin It looked like it was going fine Was getting thick put in the frezzer for about 5 min. Took it out and mixed it some more and let it sit. As it cooled it started looking funny a little shinny. took the temp and it was 90. Was going to put in the perserative started to whip it and it started looking like apple sauce. Now it looks like oil and clumps of cottage cheese. Can someone give me an idea or tell me what to do???? I would hate to waste that much product. Oh and tis is the second time I have make lotion or body butter. Thanks for any help
  15. So is it the stearic that makes it more dence and and whipped looking?? I am so glad you will be putting up a few recipes. I am kinda having a hard time understanding how to make a recipe.

  19. The group is great. they will help with any problem you might have, ask me how I know that one. In the files you can find recipes and instruction on how to. What cream soap will look like through different stages. Bekka is great and every one is great. Even our own Marry Ann got help from Bekka. I have a few folks that love the cream soap recipe i got from there. Rose clay cream soap. It is great stuff wen you finally get your head wraped around it.   21. Bekka does have some really nice cs recipes. I have made the Rose clay cs every one that has tried it loves it. One time I left out the rose clay and used super fine sugar for a facial cleanser. I have a friend that ask for it all the time. In Jan. There is suppose to be a class on a every basic recipe for cs and ls. But i have not seen anything latley on it. I would like to get a handle on how to put a recipe together that would be basic and you could add beenys to. I have never tried the snow drift farm one.
  22. I work right down the street from LorAnn and thought I had it made for a while, but I can find much higher quality supplies online for lower prices.. I know what you mean I am out in Holt, thought that it was going to be great but it is as you say. In a pinch it is great to have it so close. JO
