  1. getting the smudges in the Cello bags I get that too and take my finger and wipe it out. I find the longer I let them sit, the better they are for bagging.
  2. After you make your tarts, how long do you let them sit before you bag them up? I have to put mine in the freezer for a bit to get them out of the molds and then I let them sit but sometimes I feel like I get impatient and bag them too quickly. I just made tarts this evening and they still feel a little "moist". I use Soy wax. Have you ever made tarts in the evening and bagged them up the next morning? I have and they seemed fine.
  3. Do you ever make them in the evening and bag them up the next morning? I have done that before and they seemed to be fine
  4. Snowtop is where I buy mine and it is white and flake form
  5. Let me say, I only make tarts and I have a lot of oils, for just making tarts LOL.
  6. I made tarts tonight and they are still "moist" feeling so should I wait to bag them? Could that be why they look dry on the edges and wet in the middle when they sit for awhile, they don't do that until a few weeks later and it seems like it is the oils form Snowtop that I notice it.
  7. I haven't tried it yet but Just Scents has Lavendar Vanilla and the Soy review says AWESOME. I use Soy also and I have that one on my list to try.
  8. Thanks Carol. Forgot to mention that I use Soy, but that shouldn't matter. I do wait until the "sweat" is gone if they are like that

  11. I like my jar warmers too and melt jars on it. I also use mine for melting tarts too. I have a crock that sits on the warmer and put tart in crock.
  12. Thanks, that is what I am going to do. I bought some Sterilite Shoe Boxes today and they have the "5" on the bottom and I am going to put the tarts in the polypro bags and put them in the shoe boxes. I need to find a place for the shoe boxes now LOL.
  13. Thanks Hope I will check it out
  14. Ok we talked about storing oils, how do you all store your wax? I have mine in a box in our bedroom closet but would like another way or place to put it. I have my oils and stuff to make tarts in the kitchen cabinet but the wax won't fit in there LOL.
  15. I bought 6 of the Sterilite brand 6QT Shoe Boxes. They have a 5 on the bottom in a triangle. Will they work? They were only .97 so I will get more some other day, at that price, I can stock up easily hehe
  16. JS 100% soy..........is that Just Scent? I use Snowtop's 100% soy wax and like it, it is the pellet form
  17. Thanks Jordan. That helps a lot. I have some of them on my list to try
  18. I use Snowtop's 100% soy wax. I always try the sampler packs first and then if I like them, I order bigger bottles.
  19. Anyone use their oils? I like the site because with me using soy wax, they give reviews for soy wax, so I get the ones that say they are really good in soy hehe. I haven't placed an order yet, but have a list of ones I want.
  20. I LOVE FOH's Raisin Bread Buttercream. I just got some oils from Aroma Haven/RE yesterday so I haven't tried them yet, but I do have the Tres Leches Cake and let me say, it is AWESOME. LOVE IT !!! They are fast on shipping and super nice to deal with.
  21. Those are the bags that I use too
  22. I have seen these and wondered how easily they come out of the molds.
  23. Put your jar candle from the Dollar Store on a candle jar warmer and melt it instead of lighting it. That is what I do with the ones that don't burn right. Just a thought
  24. When you put your tarts in the containers with a "5" on them, do you bag them first or just put them in there and when someone wants to buy some, you bag them up then??
