In soy candles ,when I test burn them ,the whole melt pool(after it sets back up) is a different color than the rest. Does anyone know why this is happening? I am using liquid color, could this be the problem. What kind of dye is best to use? If you can't tell, I'm new to this. I am so glad I found this board, it has already been very helpful.Thanks for any help, in advance!!!

Thanks for the responses. I was just wondering if there was something wrong with using them because no one talks about it! I changed to a new wax and the htp's that I had, were not doing well and I happened to have some hemp wicks on hand and tried them. They seem to do very well.
