  1. Hi,

I use Ecosoya pure and have great throw (hot&cold). I add Fo at @150 and pour at @ 140-135. Have you tried different wicks? I use HTP's with good results. You might try adding your FO at lower temp, if that doesn't work try different wicks! That is what I would do. Hope this helps, I really love the throw from the ecosoya pure. I tried the advanced and it wasn't as good(IMO). I haven't tried the 135 but I am satisfied with the pure!!! Also I use 8-9% FO load on most scents, but I really don't know why 6% wouldn't give SOME throw. I just like really strong candles!!!

  2. Hi,

I use ecosoya pure wax with a 9% FO load. I don't use mason jars , I use hex jars ( which are a little harder to wick IMO). I have had the best luck with HTP and ECO wicks. Hemp works good also. I add scent at 150 and pour at 140-135 then let it sit COVERED on top of the stove. They have been turning out very well. I WAS cooling in the oven(off of course) and having a lot of air bubbles and sinkholes. I hope this info helps you. Another thing is I would rinse my jars out, there can be a film inside. Good luck!!!:cheesy2:

  3. I tried double wicking this jar with 2 htp 83's and after @ 3 hours had almost no flame. Should I wick up to 93's(which I kinda worry about because the 83's made the jar a little hot on the top) or is there a better wick I should be using? I only have sample packs of eco's and lx's, but I have most of the htp's and some hemp 1400's. How far apart should the wicks be when you double them? I am using Ecosoya pure soy and 9% FO. Any help is very appreciated!!!

Oh yeah the jar is @3 3/4 in at the widest point.

  4. I dont know if it is just the htp 83's or if they are too small. On my second burn after about 3 hours I have almost no flame. I'm afraid to use 2 93's bc thejar got a little hot with these in the beginning. Should I try a different size or a different type altogether?

    Please give me input!!!

    Thanks
