Yikes Landa!!
-
When my daughter saw these, she said ooooo cake! I said no, it's soap. Then she said, well, it still looks good enough to eat! LOL They are nice Landa...sorry it didn't turn out the way you would've like. :smiley2:

I'm not sure about the wick you're using but I would suggest either order some sample wicks from Peaks or another supplier...you can start with HTP's, CD's, ECO or Peak's Cotton wicks and start testing. HTH
-
You may want to check and see if Pier One sells them.
-
Don't know if this will help but I use Peak's Cinnamon and their Cinnamon color blocks. I put mine in the microwave in a pyrex cup and heat it for a minute or two... add my wax @ 170, f.o. and stir. Never had a problem with frosting or speckles. Just my 2 cents.

This is a great start! Very clean, colors are well coordinated,I really like the butterflies, easy to navigate, professional looking. Way to go!

You need to do that setup for bridal shows...that is SOOO elegant and beautiful!!!
That's what I thought too. Great job Elizabeth!

Rock on Lady! Fabulous as usual. Those are really neat looking.
-
Wow! Hey that's wonderful. Congrats to you and here's to many more!
-
Beautiful display! Everything looks very nice. Sorry that it was slow though.

Straight shea butter is good also.

I too am I fan of Millcreek container soy. Very easy wax to use and the added beeswax is a plus. I think I would add white as opposed to yellow though....I've notice when adding the yellow beeswax that it will be a little yellow but if you're coloring, then it doesn't matter. But, if not, add the white... much prettier.

Again Robin, you're in the Zone! I really like those. I think the refresher oil is a good idea also. You're so creative!

Hey Danielle! It's "D" All of the above! LOL:p

Hey Lady! I get mine from Lonestar. I use soy and it is really strong! I only had one left after a fall fest. I did a couple weeks ago. HTH

I melt my wax in the presto pot, when the temp reaches 185, I then put my pyrex measuring cup in the micro and heat it for 2 min. then put the measuring cup on the scale and pour my wax that has reached 200. then I add my dye flakes right away. Maybe if I add my flakes ( brick red ) in the measuring cup as soon as it comes out of the micro and pour the hot wax on top of them they might do better. I will try all of your suggestion, except for Henryk,
I can't use my stove like Henryk does, mine is electric, I don't think that would work, I really appreciate the suggestion Henryk.
THANKS EVERYONE FOR ALL THE HELP.
I'll let you know what one works for me.
Danielle, I actually put my chips in the pyrex and then stick in the microwave for a couple of minutes, then I add my wax. Does pretty good for me. HTH

And the winner is...... the loofa soap! No wonder those sell well for you. They look marvelous!
