  1. Those are great looking! You know, I use PQ for my pillars and I can do a somewhat rustic look but when I look at candles like yours, it makes me want to switch to parafin for my pillars. Do you mind me asking what wax you used? I love the way you have so many fall colors in them. Good job!
  2. I have always looked for a great pumpkin too. I found NG's Pumpkin Crunch Cake last year and can't get enough of it. It is GREAT. I use EZ soy.
  3. What kind of mold are you using. They have such a nice look!
  4. Those candles took my breath away! I love the colors. What wax did you use. They are absolutely beautiful!
  5. I think your colors are great! My customers go crazy for that scent. Should be a winner!
  6. Does this receipe hold up once it its put in jars? Will it stay fluffy?
  7. I love my lotion bars. I used to put some soy wax in them but found a great receipe that I use now. Here is the one I use ... 2 oz beeswax, 1 oz shea, 1 oz mango butter, and 1 3/4 oz avocado oil. They have a real nice feel without being greasy. I use un refined shea. That helps.
  8. I use those with EZ soy. I love them. I only use CD wicks so I use a CD 18. It works good after a few burns. I tried a 20 but it was too big.
  9. I use it for my votives and I love it. I get some frosting but also get a great scent throw!!! I wouldn't use anything else. I pour at about 150 degrees. You won't be dissapointed with it. I wrap mine in cello bags.
  10. I just love your soap. I have some LLC but haven't used it yet in my CP. Did you use anything special for the color?
  11. Thanks for all the comments. I do tilt my molds but only about 1/2 inch. I've had too many accidents if I try to do more.
  12. I have never posted many of my candles but decided to practice a little. Never quite sure if my pics are the right size. I used some of my stash of Astrolite PQ for these. That is what I use right now. Been researching other waxes for when it's gone. Hope you like these.
  13. I started off with M&P too. I found it to be good soap but not near as much fun to make as the CP. It really is addictive! I was so afraid of the lye, only to find it isn't nearly as intimidating as one would think!
  14. I use a wooden spoon and just wipe it, the thermometer, and melting pot with paper towel in between batches. Never had a problem with carry over scent.
  15. I used Lavender and Vanilla. I test burned it yesterday and it did great!
  16. I made some votives last night and used a CD 12. That is what I use in all my votives. I got a great burn today and the scent throw wasn't so bad either!
  17. I just got some of that wax in today to test. Can you give me a few pointers as to where to start for wicks? I was using Astrolite PQ and was using a flat #4 for my 3" pillars. Can I try that or should I go alittle smaller?
  18. I use Astrolite PQ and I use a #4 flat braid in my 3" pillars. I get a real nice burn.
  19. on the Scent Works web site. Anyone know what kind of soy it is? They look so nice!
  20. I use my grandkids red wagon with wooden sides. Great to load up and pull into places. I loan it out to other crafters when I'm done. Really slick!
  21. I emailed Jason this morning and go a quick reply. I'm going to try the pillar wax. I am currently using the Astrolite PQ that has been discontinued. I have about 100 lbs left but am looking to replace it with soy. I use ezsoy in my jars. Can't wait. Will have to put some thought on how to use the sample. Want to get a good true test. Has anyone else got the GW423?
  22. Got some Black soap off the co-op and I love it. I was wondering what you all do with yours? Do you remelt to form nice bars? I was thinking of making some liquid soap for my grandkids to use at my house.
