  1. I use Publisher a lot but am not sure I understand the question. (Don't worry, my family tells me that's nothing new :grin2: ) I'll take a stab at this anyway.

If you're printing a full sheet of labels but want to make them each a little different....

First go into "layout guides" and set up your paper, using columns and rows to simulate your individual labels. With those as a guide, you should be able to set up one label. When you have that one how you want it, go to "edit" and click on "select all". That highlights everything. Do a copy and paste, and then move the new grouping to the appropriate spot on your next blank label space. Fill in all the labels this way first and then go back later to make the fine-tuning changes to each one (i.e. change the word "lotion" to "butter", etc.) Most importantly, save your work. Nothing irritates me more than to go back looking for something and realizing I must not have saved it.

And if this isn't what you were looking for in an answer....sorry...

Thanks!! I understood perfectly & I think you have solved my problem!:D

  2. I wish I had an answer for you but I use those cocktail straws and just dip them in the fo and usually add about an inch or so filled in the straw. I do know some fo's require more drops than others. What I do to test is add what I think is right and then shake it up and spritz some on and if it smells strong enough than I'm good, if not I add a couple more drops. I hope that helps you a little bit. :undecided

Actually that makes me feel better, cuz now I know I'm not the only one that does it that way, lol.:D

  3. I have a templete of my label size so I just go to print and can print out a whole sheet or one design multiple times wherever I want (I can print one label in column 1 row 3, etc) which works great, I just wanna place all that I am printing on one sheet and print all at once.

  4. I did it once before, but of course I didn't write down the steps and I can not for the life of me figure it out. I want to print different labels on one sheet all at once (ex. van lotion, van butter, etc). Not having any luck with the help file either although that is how I found the directions in the first place. Help anyone???:embarasse

  5. I haven't been brave enough to try either, still reading and just haven't worked up the nerve. I do have a question though, they way I am understanding it is that cream soap u need to add a preservative and liquid you don't, is that correct and if so, why?

    thanks

  6. So far I've used the divider and make two 2lb batches at once. Still waiting for the bars to cure, still haven't cleaned em up so I'm not sure what the actual size will be but I don't use the boxes either. Oh yeah and one 2lb batch with chunks thrown in makes 16 perfect sized bars, lol.:D

  7. I have yet to have a batch that doesn't sweat, but I have never touched it and did the zap test, I just wait a few days and they always go dry up-still leave their markings on the soap though.:undecided

  8. I just got a HP 1600 & boy were you guys right about the difference between laser & inkjet. I'm still trying to figure out what type of label to use though. I got some samples of the crystal clear labels but the blue in my label looks purple-grrr. Maybe if I switch the color to purple it'll print out blue??lol Question for all you crystal clear users, how well does the label hold up on squeeze bottles? I really liked the vinyl labels for inkjet cuz they didn't crease up, I tried the polyester labels for laser printers but they didn't stick as well as the vinyl or crystal clear. Ok sorry to babble, time to go fiddle around with my printer some more.
