  1. Ok I have two quick simple questions...... 1. What size batches(on average) does everyone make? -- I haven't dared make more than 16oz. at a time of anything (i'll always goofin stuff up, lol). 2. What kinda printer does everyone use-inkjet or laser? --I have inkjet but I am seriously considering saving up for a laser printer.
  2. oooohhh I get it now (I think I got hit with the dummy stick today dammit). Anyways that is a really clever idea and turned out great!
  3. omg that is soooo kewl, wish I wasn't such a wuss to try to make some soap lol.
  4. Those are really kewl, but care to dumb it down for me? :embarasse - u bought the rubber duckies and the blue bottom is soap?
  5. Okie Dokie then I'm off to order a sample of Millcreeks soy base, thanks!
  6. For those of you who use a lotion base, what is the best? I have tried bittercreek and essentialsbycatalina, but none of them really impressed me.
  7. are the crystal clear labels for inkjet printers waterproof also?
  8. Ok after too much damn aggravation and wasted labels, I am officially announcing defeat-the labels got the best of me:mad: . No matter what I do I just can't seem to get them centered, soooooo does anyone know of a place that will do it for you without charging an arm and a leg(although at this point I would gladly give em my arm so I dont break this stinkin puter, lol)?
  9. I always turn it up to high and let'r rip!
  10. I think we're in the same boat cuz I had some sittin for 2 days waiting to thicken up and tonight when i went to jar it up-it looked nice and thick on top but the bottom was runny, not thick at all:cry2:
  11. Vinyl cling sheets?! I never heard of them-but I think I need to know more, do you have a link for them?
  12. yuppers just get aggrevated and say to hell with it and don't go near it for a few days, lol thats what i did and after about 4 or 5 days it was some thick stuff.

  15. maybe add a little more sugar? I added to much once cuz I thought it was runny looking, but a coupla days later it was too hard.
  16. I wish I had some advice for you, but unfortunately I am still in label hell......

  18. Someone asked me if I could make them a foot soak similar to taras foot soak- has anyone of that?
  19. That's what I'll do then, order the sample-thanks.
  20. Has anyone tried their Hair & Body Protein Mist/After Bath Splash? Just wondering if I could mix that with some Monoi.
  21. I am using the 2 oz labels, and I had found some oval ones that looked nice on them but like I said they leave a crease in em when I squeeze the bottle-so I am hoping that the vinyl labels won't do that.
  22. thanks Bunny, I don't mean to be stupid but is their addy www.scentworks.com?
  23. Where can I get vinyl labels? I don't need a large amount of them, and labelsbythesheet didn't have the size.
  24. I am thinking the hardest part for me is the stinkin' labels! Seems like it took me forever to get them right (type & size of font, centering, no typos, etc) and just when I think-phew finally I am finished-another problem arises. I noticed that when I squeeze the bottle the label gets a few creases in it here and there and it absolutely aggravates the crap outta me. These are plain white inkjet printer labels(I spray a thin coat of arcrylic sealer on them also)-am I using the wrong kind? Help plz before I have a label breakdown. I forgot to add that I'm using malibu's--perhaps thats the problem??
