    Welcome to hell...LOL. Once you start it is so addicting that you won't want to quit until you have broken your bank and you no longer have a room called a kitchen. You are going to love it!!

    For me it started out because I have to order in candles to were I live and thought it would be "cheaper" just to make them. Yeah, I know, I was wrong...LOL. But I got addicted to it and it is the one hobby that none of my very creative and crafty sisters do. Plus, I always have a gift on hand to give to someone and I always know what to give to my mom and sisters for holiday. Plus, it allowed me to discover the HO in me....that is the FO HO in me...LOL

    Since I only do one show a year and havent' talked my husband into making anything, yet (I have some plans...lol), I just used my boxes that my 8 oz squat masons come in. They work great to stagger step and then covered them with a table cloth as mentioned on an earlier post. It actually worked really well.

    Holy cow those sites are pretty funny. I got a kick out of looking at what they had. I am wondering if you can use the stuff from dreamreapers in candles because they have some great stinky smells...LOL. Thanks for the info guys. What is Scented stinky fish mica? I think I must have missed that....LOL!

    LOL scented : ) I thought all candles put off some soot if not burned properly even the miracle soy candles....hmmm....maybe I better check the net....LOL.

    one of the teachers wants a fish smelling candle to gross out his students. I actually have a scent that when poured very cold and mushy smells like fish, but I dont' know if it is bad enough. Any ideas?

    I have to agree with everyone else, your setup looks great and your candles look very professional. Maybe there were a lot of other candlemakers there or maybe it was where you were positioned, but unless your candles are really high priced, I can't see were you did anything wrong. Everything looks so great!

    I have been using IGI 4794 for my clamshells. It is one pour and has a great throw - hot and cold!

    I love OT's Morrocan Spice - it is great in para blend candle. Scent Cellar just soaped the baby buttermilk - Burt's Bee's type and she said is was really, really good. I am trying to be super good so she will send me some....LOL.

    I have order many...many...did I say many sample packs from JS and rarely have I had a substitute. Plus, Becky is very generous. She will usually throw many extras in with the order. Plus, she will work with you if you have a problem. Me loves Becky....LOL!
