  1. Got to thinking I would love to buy a slab mold, but they are so expensive, so why could my husband not just make one for me? Heres my problem. How the heck would I figure the dimentions for a 4-5lb mold. My luck he would build one for 20lbs. Now to those that want to blast me for not figuring it out on my own, I thought maybe someone would want to be nice and share any tips for making one or lead me to where I can get help for making one. Thanks, Jen
  2. I didnt think I would need to worry about this, but I need to put a new order in for more products and FO after selling almost everything this week. I know I love Pink Sugar and Warm Vanilla Sugar, but I need to know your best sellers for B&B or favorites. Some scents sound like they would smell great, but I have gotten samples of them only to find they stink. BTW, has anyone tried Pomegranite& Orange? Thank You!
  3. I have started selling a few items in my salon just to see if I could raise anyones brow. Whipped shea, CP soaps and foaming bath butter. Almost everything sold in the last couple of days. I never anticipated selling more than 1 item a week and now its almost gone. I have even gotten requests for future orders and baskets full of product. One of the cosmos who give the most awesome pedicure, used the whipped shea today, she said its one of the best products she has ever used for the massage. Now I am frazzled, because I need to order more product, and I dont know how many scents to offer. The pink sugar flew off the shelf first. I am so happy
  4. I want to make some peppermint foot balm. Is there some ingredient to add to make it get that icy cold feeling that soothes the feet, or does that naturally come with the scent. I hope that makes sense.
  5. Here are a few I could think of. http://justscent.com/bathnbody.html http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/StoreCategory.aspx?CategoryID=1467&CategoryName=Shower+Gel+Base http://www.thesage.com/catalog/Cleansers.html
  6. Oh, I see the black or dark part must be the scented.
  7. Ok, I am liking yours WAY better than mine. How did you get your to not turn brown. Mine are now tan
  8. Yes, thats it, and i found a post with the link just now. Thanks!!
  9. Sorry if this has been a dupe post, but i remember someone saying somthing about some great colors or product for coloring soaps and B&B. Anyone remember or know what I am talking about?
  10. I have been gettting my salon cards from there for a long time. Even if you get the premium cards, they are cheap and they dont have the print on the back, as if it mattered. I just got 250 free premium cards, notpads, a stamper and something else all for free thru some promotion. I only paid $5.99 shipping. They are awesome.
  11. I could'nt wait to cut into these. they are more of a peachy pink than anything. But i am so happy they are not brown. Still need some cutting practice.
  12. This is really wierd, but I decided to leave it uncovered to see what would happen and the color is not too bad. I had no ash on top, which was totally unusual for me. It looks really good this am. Its not brown at all. I am starting to wonder how good that pink sugar was, from what I have seen with other pink sugars. The only thing diff. I did was used red mica instead of pink. Hopefully I can post pics later today.
  13. I made some of the soy whip last night. I added a little SAO, but it was so hard to pkg. How much extra ingredients are you adding to make it more workable. I made a huge mess with the blender.
  14. It didnt take long and its starting to change colors already. It WAS a pretty pink with white swirls.
  15. What a major difference. I hope your on to something. I love PS. it would be nice if it would stay pink, wouldnt it?
  16. Not really, More of a lotion consistency. Its hard to describe. Very silky
  17. The packaging looks great. Is your warm vanilla sugar pretty dead on as a dupe? I dont know where to get mine.
  18. I just got my order from KY for soy body butter and got a sample of the body glaze. This stuff is so awesome, it feels great. Now I am going to have to order that too.
  19. Woohoo, thanks Mags. I think thats what I needed! :yay:
  20. Whoops, I guess an emulisfied recipe would make it more like a heavy cream. Am I right?
  21. After making Kimberlys whipped shea, is there another recipe that is more like a heavy duty lotion, but its in a jar. I guess thats what i pictured when I made it. I ordered KY Soy body butter and I hope I can get it really fluffy. Is there some secret ingredient to make it more light and fluffy instead of a heavy butter. That probably makes no sense, ecpecially since its a butter to begin with. I have done searches, but I have a feeling they are all similar.
  22. I bet those smell so good. Is it pretty close to BBW? You can sure send them my way
