  1. Really Liking me some studio fragrance at the moment. The only supplier out of 20 or so that I have found that does free shipping on 25. Bottle cost equal to others and still offers free shipping! Oils are great quality. All 3 sample orders arrived on my door step in a couple of days. Extremely impressed with this place. Black amber lavender, iced vanilla woods. Strawberry shortcake, beach linen just a few tested in wax all threw very well and surprisingly didn't fade as quickly as I expected. The black amber lavender for example was made in a wickless tin 2 and half weeks ago. I am still warming that tin. And it still smells really nice. It's a new favorite for sure really nice lavender. Super impressed overall.
  2. I'm pretty Happy with Midwest fragrance company to! Shipping is extremely fair. 149.00 free shipping aswell. Shipping was quick. Ordered 10 samples. Usually I end up with 2 or 3 I like. I happened to like all of these samples. Wasn't one I pushed to the side. Tested two so far the cocoa butter cashmere and cedar musk lavender. Both amazing. I put in a reorder for 16s immediately. Love the owners. You actually feel like a valued customer. The group is very warm and encouraging and lifting aswell as informative and judgement free. From the Veterans to the newbies. Good vibe all the way around.
  3. Yea..I might have come off a tad doushy. I'm sorry. I typically don't join these forums and just stalk them and try to pick up tid bits of knowledge here and there lol. Some of the older post did crawl on me a little let it get the best of me. I have no doubts many here have plenty of knowledge to offer.
  4. I'm so glad you are having success Tall I hope to make my debut soon. It's been a long 3 years of testing SO MANY waxes, wicks, smells. Tons of money gone lol. Started as a weekend thing I'm going to make a candle!! Then turned into I'm going to make a candle that isn't garbage. I really appreciate the advice. I have really been thinking about the shipping/cost thing. Looking at packaging cost to. I guess all I can do is throw some things up and pray for the best. Question do you sale on amazon? I have been checking that out to. Curious if amazon handmade is worth the troubles.
  5. Well perhaps I might finally list one and you can purchase from me 🥰
  6. I know this is old..But I'm not sure how any candle makers can make money on etsy ??Where in the heck are people getting wax and fragrances?? I have to order online and pay high cost shipping on product. To sell a 16 ounce candle free shipping for 15 bucks? I mean that wouldn't even break even for me. I created a account but jeez. How to compete with some. So my etsy account just sits. While I try to figure out how to buy make and sell for a little profit atleast just enough to buy more supplies so I can hobby more. Those making mad money selling candles. Good job!! I would have to list my 16 ounce for 30 bucks to come out. Who wants to buy a 30 dollar candle when you can get bbw candles 3 for 30 on a sale 😭😭😥
  7. Bad customer service this place. Not so great fragrances. Spent 100s and 100s here. Several fragrances from this place NO MATTER the methods used or % would seep from all kinds of different waxes. I reached out to this company asking why I was not able to review products as I depend on honest reviews. I was curious why EVERYTHING had nothing but 5 star reviews and I would order based on this and get garbage. Threw so many expensive bottles away. So I reviewed on google under business and the owner replied asked me not to shop from them again because I left a bad review on there concerning a particular fragrance and their review system. So in short you are not allowed to review. They sort the good. They run off the honest folks. My money is now spent on companies that allow good or bad reviews. In this journey I found much more stable products honest business owners. I have thrown very little away. Be very aware of the fragrance suppliers that has ONLY list great reviews.
  8. I know this is old.. but...Wow! Some of you really need your own youtube channel with your over the top expertise. So judgmental. So my take on the Standley videos..wait first let me say I AM A NEWBIE. Been making and trying to perfect for almost 3 years now. Yes it's expensive. Yes it's hard. Yes a TON of fails. I mean anyone who has tried ANYTHING new have all of the above problems. Baking, candles, painting ect.. I mean seriously some of you and your comments are atrocious. You were new once don't forget this. Also it would hurt for you to be encouraging. Would it? Ok back to Standley. I happen to find his videos informative. His reviews on waxes, wicks and so on have lead me to some success in many fails. We all know especially with candle making any new success in many fails is a godsend. It's a pricey craft. So that I appreciate. However we are also grown adults here. Right? RIGHT??? We all know that like life you learn from your own experience. Candles that means testing. If someone would have hopped on YouTube and told me Aztec fragrances was diluted garbage and customer service was compete horse sh** it might have saved me 100s. That's a different rant though. So I appreciate the informative heads up on wicks, wax and fragrances. I appreciate watching how someone else does things and try it myself as WE ALL get stuck in THOSE RUTS. Does it always work for me? No. Have I learned things? Absolutely. I have seen many informative vids on youtube and have learned a great deal. Self teaching can be difficult. So many waxes so many garbage fragrance company's with insane shipping rates. So yea..I lean on folks like Standley to inform me. Not that he's preaching the candle bible. But nevertheless has saved me some time. For those eye rolling, facebook hating on the newbies sit down pah-lease. I applaud anyone who devotes time in something they believe in and make a success of it. Good job Standley and everyone else killing this. If you made your first candle yesterday and you knocked it out of the park and start selling tomorrow. Hey...that is bada***Congratulations!! and good for you. Some OF US. Like many here hating on everyone takes a very long time to get there. So keep it up. Lift others up. And don't listen to the buh hum bugs know it alls jealous little people who would love to make youtube workshop, ebook have their own website money. Oh and if I wasn't so broke from my own candle adventure. I would buy butt loads of standley candles and from my fellow candle makers around. I'm sure they are wonderful ! That is all.
