I occasionally get some out to use when I run out of "real" soap, which I get from people like eugenia. I don't sell soap. Not on purpose, anyway.
I guess I'm confused after reading this on your homepage of your website. Maybe you should put the above comment in it's place.
We also hand craft skin-loving
Happy Butter™ Body Butter and Body Frosting, as well as
Alcohol-Free Perfume,
Shea Butter Soap
and Tub Tea.

Just curious but why would you have stuff that's three years old still on your shelf?

Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous!
Dang, you have been busy!
Hard for me to decide favs. but I think the rasp. mint, PS and blue sugar are just OUTSTANDING-I'll take one of each please!
Seriously, do you have a website?
No, I've been trying to get recipes just so and am working on packaging right now. I'm just getting to the stage where I'm hiring someone to take pics and set up my website but it's not up yet.
If you're interested in some soaps just pm me and we can go from there.
Thanks for the compliments. They are much appreciated!

The colors are a combination of SS, Oxides & Ultramarines.
The PS you can get from GreenLeaf. It soaps great. Really easy to play with and the scent doesn't morph at all and sticks great.
Thanks for all the compliments. I guess that means we're doing something right.

I did use a sb and have been meaning to give it a try in my KA. I've given up on the sb's. Too many small air bubbles.

I tried it a couple of times and ended up with soap on a stick both times. Let me know how it goes.

I make a kitchen soap that's pretty good at killing onions and garlic but haven't tried it on Fish Funk yet.
Kills cigarette smell though so it might work.

:oI see a vagina.
Okay, seriously looking for that and not seeing it.
Really wish I could cuz I haven't seen one of those in months.
ETA:Vagina or no Vagina those are some great looking soaps!!!!!!

I think you have cool looking soaps but you do get some weird stuff out of them. I don't think I've had anything that cool come out of mine. Love the two screaming at each other.
Good Job

Both FO's were ones I've used a hundred times and only a month or two old. One was poured at a little thinner trace than the other but both within normal range. I don't think it was an overheat problem as I skipped gel on these. I'm really puzzled. I'm going to do another batch with the Emu and do a batch with the standard recipe and see what happens. I'm hoping the FO re-absorbs but the bars should still be nice if it doesn't. Just not as fragrant. I've never soaped with Emu before but I hear it's nice in soap which is why I have a hard time believing it's that. I'm going with the damn gremlins.

The soap I made over the weekend has a very FUNKY problem. I've seen it with candles but never with soap.
I came home today and the FO had risen out of it and puddled on the top of the loaves. Not all of it but enough to leave puddles. WTH? Has anyone seen this before and what caused it?
The only thing different in the recipie was I used emu oil at 10% and subtracted 10% out of my olive oil but I can't imagine how that would of caused it. I didn't even superfat it at trace like I was going to otherwise I would of figured that was the culprit. And yup I did run it through soapcalc. I would of thought that maybe I had mis-measured something but it's on every loaf and each one is it's own batch.
Very weird!

I think I'd try to make it skip the gel stage, that yellow is very pretty. JMO though.

Coconut oil is the most similar thing to babassu. I think you just have to increase it to 20% if you want to make something as close as possible.
Kind of what I was thinking. Thanks for the response, just wanted to make sure I was on the right track.

10% Castor Oil
5% Babassu Oil
15% Coconut Oil
15% Palm Kernel Oil
5% Butter
20% Palm or Lard
30% RBO or OO
This recipe makes a very bubbly bar.

Just wondering if there is another oil you can sub for the Babassu?

Now I'm craving Turkey and Yams!
Great job, I love the colors!

Wow! Really liking the Lavender Fields & the Granite. :highfive:

Anyone? Beuller? BEULLER??

Can you use Dendritic Salt to make them? I've got a big bucket of it I want to use up and figured this would be a good way.
TIA

I haven't tried any others but the Scent Works and like the rest of their oils it's very good! Soaps great too in cp if you're wondering:wink2:

People love my soap, but I felt it wasn't worth it. Now I could make soap everyday.
That right there is worth the price!!:highfive:

That cutter is awesome, I hope to get one soon! I think it cuts the bars at 1" but I'm pretty sure I read that you can have pay like $30 extra and they will make it custom to the thickness you desire..
Sharon
They will. Unfortunately they also charge $15 per extra wire on the log splitter of which I want an extra three. So for the 3 pieces it's pretty close to $600 but really it seems worth it if they are as good as everyone says.
-
Aww man....
This thread is going to get me killed. I'm seriously looking at the log splitter, the "tank" and the 12lb slab mold. Doh!*faint*

They look great, but who is FCS?

Being that's not what it says on your website would start the confusion and the fact that you said the soap was three years old is certainly not "recently". Sue me, I get confused easily. I guess you got "lost" too............
