  1. Blueberry is the worst. Creme Brulee runs a real close second followed by Leather.
  2. I noticed that Hobby Lobby has colors that said for candles or soaps:undecided They were not clear on the types of candles or soaps. I was even confused.:undecided

  6. I am so with you on this Michi......I have Lye phobia:( but every day I look in the Gallery and check the latest soap porn:drool:
  7. I find that it all depends on the FO. I have had some last for days and others only seem to last hours.
  8. I agree with the heat gun. I think the blow dryer would take too long and may melt your soaps.
  9. I did a search for the Jelly Bath thread and came up empty handed. Did anyone decide what it was made of and what makes it disolve?
  10. Might I suggest just colors that represent mystical. Deep purples, blues and reds. If not the candles themselves maybe the glassware.
  11. I have burned mine for 6 hours now. Never has reached a full melt pool. I keep getting whiffs of a fireplace smell. I am guessing the wick here. The scent was much stronger the first burn. Now I can only smell it if I am right on top of it and this is the BIG one. Sitting next to it I should be blown away! Edited to add: The crackle sound is almost non-existent now too!
  12. I could not stand the suspense any longer and broke down today and bought one too. I must say the size of the melt pool vs time burning was impressive. Mine is burning very nicely with a nice throw. I know everyone has tried to figure out what the wick is made of but no one has mentioned the little wisps of smoke that comes from them. It is not a "soot" type smoke but almost a "mist". I am really enjoying the small crackle and scent.
  13. Thanks for the added info!:highfive: I just could not see how these could be safe. My thoughts on these have been confirmed.
  14. Wow! That was quite the deal. Care to share the source?
  15. I have searched the web for 2 days now and can not find the answer to a very easy question. When you rebatch CP soap is it "cooked" then like HP? I know it will still have to dry but is the lye part of it finished?
  16. New and searching too. I would have thought that you would want the shiny side on the inside touching the soap?
  17. You may like the ones at crystalwarmers.com. I ordered a few and they are very nice. I love the fact that the light can be adjusted for brightness.
  18. The packaging source has some nice closeouts.
