  1. I have to agree. I do like the way it looks at a glance, but bit of a strain on these old eyes. Janette
  2. Just thought I would put this link up. I've been searching for these since the co-op and thought others might also be. http://allwhitecandles.easystorecreator.com/items/candle-packaging-and-candle-shrink-wrap/1000-plastic-pillar-candle-end-caps-for-shrink-wrap-3ew-detail.htm Janette
  3. Many suppliers list their Top 10 Scents on their sites. I've seen this on Nature's Garden, Indiana Candle Supply, Peaks...I'm sure there are many more. Janette
  4. I tried several times to contact this company by email as wanted to place an order with them over the phone rather than online. After about 6 emails I received one reply which did not answer my question or provide me with a phone number I requested to order. I emailed her several more times to asking if I could place a phone order...and heard nothing back ever. I guess I am lucky that I never even got to place an order so I have lost nothing. Janette PS- I think I saw in an old post that this company is based in Florida.
  5. I think the lid is more likely to cause a problem. If the lid has a rubber or plastic seal on it I don't think you will ever get the smell out completely. Janette
  6. I second the Raspberry Lemonade:highfive: . ICS's Pink Sugar is great!!! Janette
  7. Beautiful as always....thanks for showing. Janette
  8. Love the colours...Awesome job:yay: Janette
  9. Nicely done...All are great...I love the rustic. Janette
  10. I think having a range of amounts is a good idea. Janette
  11. I agree. If you are selling everything that your bees can produce then maybe those bees deserve a raise. Janette
  12. The wax is IGI 1242, 2Tbsp Stearic, UV, 1/2 oz FO, dye.
  13. Thanks for all the input...I like the pillars best myself, but I'm a little biased. I will likely send the pillar....but I think that they photograph better than the lantern so I'll see how my photos turn out first. Cheers Janette
  14. Thanks all..... It is scented with Flowering Dogwood-NG. I am pulling my hair out over the wicking...waiting for some flat braid to arrive to test on the twin. Square braid just doesn't do it, flame to big and tunnelling. I haven't worked much with stearic so I have a ways to go before I will be happy with the burn. Janette
  15. Please help me decide which piece to send for jurying. The first is a cane with scallop shells embedded. The second is an embedded pillar, a design I have done for years. I will also be sending photos, but have to send one actual product. TIA Janette
  16. Poured this for testing yesterday...and WOW is this one strong. To me it is all Lemon...I don't smell the berries...but it is very nice. I am waiting for some flat braid to arrive before I wick and test burn. Janette
  17. I have just started playing around with these....much to learn but happy enough to show you all. Thanks for looking. Janette
  18. Lily of the Valley from NG is a great seller for me-spring & summer. Awesome throw. Banana Kiwi- I just put this in wax a couple of days ago. Good cold throw. Haven't lit it yet. It's a fruity banana. Not bad...not my fav. Rootbeer- I LOVE THIS STUFF Janette
  19. I used to order FO from Pourette and some where fine....Sandalwood, Amber, Rose and Blackberry(discontinued) were all good. But since I have gotten online and found Peak, Nature's Garden, BCN, RA, etc...I have stopped buying Pourette's FO. Many of their scents I didn't care for, not so realistic to me. HTH Janette
  20. Another common problem with floating candles is the water temperature. If the water is too cold it can cause the candle to crack when burning, then it fills up with water and sinks. Try another size wick as the others have said, but also try using warmer water. HTH Janette

I think you are right, it was YUZU....I have been thinking the same as you for a while and just haven't gotten around to trying that one yet. Janette
  22. Favorite at the moment- Rootbeer-NG (I can't believe I admitted that) Best Seller depends on the season-Spiced Cranberry-NG fall/winter Janette
  23. The candles look great. Very nice job on the set up and photography. Janette
  24. Keystone's- Salty Sea Air, throws great in paraffin...no idea about soy.
