what type of wax are you all using with these FO and what is the % you are adding to the wax. is the throw cold and hot awesome I just placed an order for samples with someone else but am really thinking of placing another order now with these guys also so I can try them. I use the igi 4627 comfort blend. I gotta go to bed for now lol been staring at this computer for hours ordering scents that I now have a headache lol there just isn't enough hours in the day to play on here and spend money:laugh2:

really?? May I ask where you get yours then? Do you not like them becuase of the throw or lack of?

I wish I was a millionare lol there are so many FO and so many suppliers to them I just want them all or better yet I would love to be my own FO supplier and make it myself

Okay I am getting ready to place another order for FO and I am torn between Taylored Concepts and Natures Garden. I have gotten samples from Taylored and loved them, I have never used NG and have read good reviews from them. Customer Service is important but I am really only interested in the way the FO are. The wax I use is comfort blend 4627. NG I can save a little money but really the difference was like $20.00 So if you all can give me your personal thoughts that would be great and if you use the 4627 that would be even better lol for comparison Thanks

oh gotta love the c-3 and wicking lol I have found that the CD work best for me and I can achieve the full melt pool the HTP's for me burn way to fast and hot. Best of luck to you

C-3 was so hard for me to wick and I am still having a hard time getting it to be a single wick. Love the wax but frustrating at times lol had to take a break from it and go with the comfort blend, but will be going back to it within the month lol

wow beautiful jars, I would think you should be able to use them as candles but agree wicking might be tough

I don't dip so I don't know but would a large turkey roaster work kinda like the presto pot

oh thanks for all the great replies. Will try it with less FO (have to get hubby to agree to that one lol) I put the FO in at 175 stir well then pour into warm jar

Thanks that is what I was thinking...I need to double wick and have tried the small ones and it doesnt give me the burn pool. So I keep moving up but it seems like what ever wick I use and what ever scent this happens. Oh well it smells great

I will try less but I was thinking it was the cold since it sat in the car for a few hours while he was in his meeting and the temps are below 0. My ones here are fine and not gelled up?

I have tested many wicks with my comfort blend 4627. We had about 10% FO and have tried different FO. I do not use color but after I blow the candle out and it sets up you can see a darker color on top from where the pool was. Why is this happening? Is it just the FO? It is a tanish brown color. Is it the wicks (I have tried many and they all seem to do it). What can I tell potential customers...I tried color and just don't like it and even the color dis colored after I blew it out.

made a candle with 4627 comfort blend and the scent was baby powder. Hubby Travels so he took one with him. Well he got home last night and pulled it out of the suitcase and it seems all the FO went to the bottom and gelled up and then aslo leaked out the top(it was laying on its side). What would cause this? Scared that when we do ship candles that the FO will sink and gel up durning shipping.

Hello everyone! Question on a good wax

what one person might think is an awesome wax another may not be fond of it...I just make container candles right now so I can give you my two cents but I know I have switched my waxes cause what other people loved I have not. Just gotta play around, but small batches, see if there is any for sale on here ect -
I test my wicks just like I would make a candle, so I myself actually glue the wick down and the pour my wax and start burning away. Yes I have to remelt and what not when I need to test again a differnet wax but that is worth it all to me
