  1. Hello Testing123. Right now I have the 6006 and that's all I've tried so far. In my research, I liked the parasoy blend and since I started with CandleScience, went with 6006. However, I have discovered that FlamingCandle is not too far from me and was going to look into the possibility of picking up my supplies vs shipping. With that being said, I'm curious about how the Problend 600 stacks up to the 6006 (other than the messiness lol). Any information you are willing to share is appreciated.
  2. I see this is an old post but still may help someone I had this happen to me as well with the 6006. The feedback (paraphrased/summarized) I received from Candle Science was: *Make sure you don't pull the wick too tight, especially if using wick bars *Try preheating containers *Cool at room temp, abt 5 " apart and not on a solid surface and away from drafts *Adjust pour temp Recommended is 170 but may have to adjust up or down. Try pouring a couple of test candles in 5-10 degree increments *Avoid overstirring and pour slowly to avoid bubbles *Tap glassware gently after pouring to release any bubbles Haven't made a new batch since this but suspect I may have been pulling my wick to taught
  3. oooohhh I lOVE that, especially for color coding!
  4. WOW .... way too much work for you to have to do for such an expensive candle! They should've paid YOU for the surgery. 😁 The most I go for are the B&BW when they are on sale AND with a 20% coupon. Which, btw, I noticed when I lit one yesterday (because now I pay closer attention), it reached complete MP in 30 minutes and was too hot to even touch. Had a heck of a hot throw tho. The ones I was testing at the same time never QUITE reached full MP but were comfortably able to be touched. Not much in the way of HT tho. Oh well, still trying.
  5. I must admit I have an addiction to it. Especially the ones you can get at Michaels for 33 cents. The one i like for this purpose actually looks like little labels.
  6. I am new and this is my first post however I do have a suggestion for easily removable tape. Washi tape comes off very easily and leaves no residue. Just write on it with a sharpie. I have been writing a number on my washi, putting it on the container and then having an index card with the corresponding number for testing. Masking tape would work as well. Maybe this will help someone.
