Thanks, I was really afraid of inlaying the picture. In all reality I am really glad that I mastered making all of the other candles first before ever trying this. I would have to say that some of the pillars I make are more difficult then this was.
Well I finally got over being scared of making a Hurricane. Here is the first one that I have ever done and I am so HAPPY on how it turned out. It is perfect and to top it off I put a great picture of my babies on it. It really was a lot easier then I ever thought it would be. Thanks for looking.
Ok, when I go to the stores I always see this "Linen" look. It is not a rustic but looks like little scratches all over the candle. Can anyone please tell me how you get this effect. THANK YOU!!!!
Don't feel that way, it is all in learning. Remember to that when your pillar is done to level it, this will help with any little mishapes on the bottom of your pillar.:smiley2:
Wow those look really great. I like the one on the left the best too!!! They look so great that I think they might be worth the time. I really need to try to do one soon. Thanks for sharing
I really like how they turned out crackled. I love that technique. Just did it to one of my rejects today and it looks good but I still think yours are better.
