  1. I am Not a fan of aromabeads online AT ALL!! They do not last!! Buy it ship it is the same company. It’s just her son. I’ve made the ornies with PP4F and done craft shows with them. They have NEVER melted. Not in the car, not at a craft show...never. I have cured and baked exactly to the specific instructions with the Aromabeads online and I can only get them to last 2 weeks at the MOST! The PP4F are lasting up to 6 weeks, some scents even longer! My mom has had a cinnamon vanilla in her truck for 2 months now! No one will make me believe you can get that out of aroma beads online! I’ve tried them over and over again!! PP4F did get a bad batch of beads a while back but I called and He replaced my beads. He called his supplier and they got it figured out immediately. I’m a fan.
  2. At first I was using the same recipe as I did with beads from other suppliers and it didn’t last long. I saw A recipe on here and tried it and have been successful ever since. I use One cup of beads to one ounce of scent oil. They have been lasting 4-6 weeks and some of the stronger scents even longer!
  3. Same for me. They only lasted a few days. Paul suggested that they soak up more oil, but at what point is it becoming not cost-effective AND I don’t Like the way they look after they bake.
  4. I still made some of mine and I did dump about 10 pounds. The ones I made I will just use around my own house or car.
  5. No I didn’t package and sell them. I tested them on family and friends first because they looked strange when I baked them. It could possibly be that they could soak up even more oil but at what point would that become not cost-effective...you know?
  6. I’ve only used Candlescience out of those. I use i cup of beads with one ounce of oil. I think There isn’t enough beads to soak up the oil.
  7. What ratio are u using and what brand of oils?
  8. What scent are you using? Mine normally cure in a few days...Leather always takes longer
  9. I didnt Know you got the strange batch...I didnt even Know there was a strange batch when I replied to your comment about your beads. I remember our conversation. He did in fact offer to take mine back but I had already colored and scented them, so I opted to try and bake at the lower temps. Paul will stand by his product, that’s why I keep telling everyone to contact him. That way he knows which beads we prefer. He’s not a candle company and he’s new to the aromabead business so he’s relying on our expertise and experience. If you make ornies and you have had the chance to experience the original premium beads like Katmeltswax and I have you would see these are the best beads On the market right now by a long shot! They last far longer and cure faster than any other bead you can buy.

  11. Yes. If you order right now they should be the same as when we first ordered the premium beads, but I would still complain so he doesn’t try to get those beads again! Strength in numbers!
  12. @katmeltswax i did Call and inquire before i ordered The last time and he said the were the same ones you and I started with. You might want to call and ask to make sure
  13. I took my temp all the way down to 250 and still couldn’t get it right so I called him. I would call and complain about them or email at the very least so he knows we don’t like those beads. They don’t hold scent as well either. The beads I ordered when the premium beads first came out are amazing! I told him those were the best bead I had ever worked with so let’s hope he keeps those beads instead.
  14. How do you guys store your scents after they have been baked into shapes? Plastic tubs? Large bags? Of course, I place each One in their own individual bag, but I was curious to see how you store them to separate them by scent
  15. OH wow I ‘m not sure how that would work either but I would love to be able to make my own! Let me know what you come up with!
  16. For the plastic pellets brand of beads i use 1 ounce of oil per 1 cup of beads
  17. I havwnt Tried new car yet and I get it from Nature’s Garden also. I havent Had any issues with my leather though. I order It from Lonestar or Texas Candle Company and it soaks up just fine. I wonder If it could be the oil. I have Not tried pina colada either because I have been working on fall scents
  18. Did you make the leather with the first batch?
  19. I called Paul about this yesterday as well because I got a batch like this too. It is nothing we are doing. The molecular make-up of that batch of beads is different. Bake at lower temps was the suggestion I got. He did tell me the new batch I just ordered is the old beads I have grown to know and love. He called his supplier and they discussed this. So bake at lower temps. He suggested 300 for 10 minutes or so. I havent Tried it yet but I will keep you posted.
  20. I bake Mine at 350 for 9-10 minutes depending on thickness
  21. I would say depends on where u live. I have 3 different prices. My small ones for lockers and trash cans are $3 or 2 for $5. My small shapes are $5 and my large shapes are $10. Most places around my area sell the large shapes for $12
  22. I put A roofing nail in before baking so i dont Have to drill holes anymore. It’s such a timesaver!! I find If i bake Over 11 minutes they completely melt.
  23. I havent Had any issues since i have Switched beads to the PlasticPellets4Fun! They are great! Has anyone else baked any?
  24. I have Some really small ones also and i use Them without the hole and sell them for people to put in the bottom of trash cans or gym lockers and they are a big hit! I sell Them for $3 each or 2 for $5!
  25. Have you tried leather with these beads yet?
