  1. You would waste the stabilizer IMHO.
  2. My newest formulation excludes olive oil and coconut. My wife believes it my best soap. The soap is designed for people with sensitive skin types.
  3. Thank you Barbara. I went ahead and ordered from multiple companies, as it looks like Soaperschoice may not restock any time soon. I'm worried at the shortage of Babassu and Mango Butter. You're a good friend. Wish you would come to the Alabama Soap Association meeting in June at Prattville. Lots of good information and freebies.
  4. Buy the pound. It's like buying two pounds. We're talking stout vanilla. Seriously. Fantastic mixer as well.
  5. I called them up to see if there might be a stash in the warehouse, nope. They didn't know when the order would come in to the warehouse, so I check everyday. I haven't introduced this soap and have some testers but it's looking good.
  6. I stink at mp and totally admire the artistic patience you folks possess!
  7. I come up with a kick ass soap formula that uses Babassu and Mango Butter. I go to Soaperschoice and lo and behold, out of stock. Both out of stock. I've located alternate providers but the shipping and delivery time is a deal breaker. Please help me to find patience until Soaperschoice restocks?
  8. $81.95 for the tall and skinny silicone mold, end inserts for 1-3 dividers, 3 silicone mats, flowers, sea shells and scrolls patterns. Extremely well made product.
  9. I love my Skinny Mold kit! This is a goat milk soap with no fragrance or dye for problem skin.
  10. getting ready for the Spring-Summer season can be challenging. Picked these up today and haven't had time to use in Candle or bath and body applications. Lush type 25:43, good for any applications but does contain 5% vanillin, so it most likely will go dark. Bought a pound on March discount, and it is a very complex and clean fragrance. Citrusy with layers of Tonka, Ylang-ylang and a hint of Rose. Strong! Beach Bohemian, yup summertime and this is sophisticated. Can't find the coconut but mango, peach and amber is beachy without suntan oil. Can't wait. Good soaper. Caribbean Fruit, is strong with good kumquat and a touch of pineapple. So far so good. Driftwood Bamboo is just what I'm looking for in a spring summer fragrance. Green, clean and kinda sexy with a touch of patch and sandalwood. Honeysuckle is dead on and powerful. This is going to be a blender for the season. Very true. Lux Linen, is upscale fresh with herbs and sandalwood. Not a linen sheet or cotton. Ocean Fresh is like a super fresh floral I can do. I see blending in its future. Pomegranate Blackberry? Oh wow, this is so good. It has a little guava in the mix and I'm in love. I'll update after some soaping, candle making, bath bombs and shower gel.
  11. Thanks for the feedback. Greatly appreciated!
  12. Just beautiful, as always. You going to the Alabama Soap and Candle meeting this June in Prattville? I went last year and had a blast! Amy Warden of Great Cakes Soapworks and Soap Challenge will speak. The spin swirl will be our challenge.
  13. Thanks. I'm sorry, this is the dancing funnel swirl.

  15. The faux traveling funnel is taking your squirt bottles and making (in this case black) make a series of dots and then fill in with a different color, pushing the black into an outline. Layering until the mold is full. There are good tutorials on YouTube.
  16. Here are the cuts. I need some feedback if some of you don't mind. The traveling funnel is terrible. Not enough soap in the mold (learning curve for new mold) but I think it's cut wrong. Whats the correct way to cut this swirl? It's a full gel with a ton of ash and the color is really muted. Maybe cut it down to guest sized soaps?
  17. The tall skinny mold is wonderful! It comes with three inserts and I used the scroll. I went ahead and did the top, in case the scroll didn't work out. I think next time I'll wipe down the insert (I used white soap left over from the previous pour, so it stuck real well) and I wonder if m&p would work. Thanks for any input and be bold with your critiques, I'm a big boy.
