  1. I only have one jar style and three sizes: 4, 8, and 15 oz. The 4's and the 15's are the best sellers. HTH
  2. All of these things are beautiful. Boy, you certainly are talented. :highfive:
  3. Nope, it didn't hurt the wrap at all and customer's appreciate that the tart is protected, but yet they can still actually smell it. Good luck on mastering shrink wrap, it's a quite a challange sometimes. The best advice I can give, is don't wear fleece! LOL! Static is a . . . well you know!
  4. Very beautiful, excellent idea!
  5. For smell factor, I bought a really small hole punch from the scrap book section at Michaels (I think). I punched the hole in the bag before wrapping the tart, that way there was a small hole in the package that they could still smell through. HTH
  6. Yes, I used an impulse sealer. Got it off ebay for like $10-15 bucks or something. I just went around the tart cutting off any extra to have no more than about 1/4 to 1/2 in excess on the edges. You can't ever get it super tight since the sealer is straight and your tart is round. But if you get it close enough, it shrinks up very nice.
  7. I used to do individual tarts and shrink wraped every single one. What a PITA! But, I found that if you cut/seal the bag to make it as tight as you can all the way around the tart, then add heat, it will hug the tart very nicely. I used to sit for hours shrink wrapping, shrink wrapping, shrink wrapping, then I found clamshells!
  8. That looks great! Fantastic job!:highfive:
  9. I'm terrible for mixing things. I do it all the time, why buy a new bottle of FO when you can mix two you got for nothing extra?!?! Let's see, some of my concotions: Jack Frost and Mistletoe for the holidays. This was DH's favorite. Hot Fudge Brownie and Vanilla for more of a milk chocolate scent. Hot Fudge Brownie and Strawberry for Chocolate Dipped Strawberries. Pumpkin Spice and Hot Fudge Brownie, that was sooooooooo yummy! I tried Pink Sugar and Mango Papaya once, but it didn't turn out so well. Can you tell I like to add Chocolate to things???
  10. Now you're really onto something. If you come up with a concoction that celeberties like, then they're sure to be a best seller. Who could resist a Tom Cruise favorite. LOL! I'm just jealous I didn't think of it!
  11. I've used both, and in my experience, it seemed that the LS smoked worse than the regular zincs, IMO. I then decided to just nix zinc core all together since no matter what size or type I tried, I just could not get the proper burn with the soy/veggie blend wax I used. Did you notice any smoking with you LS Zincs? Or am I the only weird one? LOL
  12. Yes, very interesting in deed. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Absolutely adorable! I would have to second wanting to join in making these too next time. When it comes to fun and artsy, I'm SOOOOOOOO there!
  14. LMAO, very catchy! It's funny how sometimes two things you think would be terrible combined turn out to smell fantastic! I would probably buy Wake up and smell the roses, I love coffee and a faint hint of roses!
  15. I just tested and was quite pleased with CandleScience's Lavender. Not knock you out strong, so that's a plus in my book (I'm not a lavender fan) so I can stand to pour it. HTH
  16. The name game is the most fun part in my opinion. How about: Banana Smoothie or Banana Silk
  17. Getting ready for V-day! I've already made about 200 heart shaped tarts and that's just the beginning. Have to open the shop this weekend, so I'll probably be pulling some late nights this weekend. Anyone else frantically getting thier Valentine items prepared?
  18. Those look very nice. Did you make them? (Sorry to ask, but you didn't say )
  19. I would have to go with sure why not as well. You should be proud of your product and want to show it off! I like browsing and buying other candlemakers products as well, espceically ones that make things I do not!
  20. I think the raffia looks great. It adds more character than a regular piece of elastic would. I love your jars, so curvy and sophisticated looking. Is this a 4 oz jar?
  21. Well, I'm speechless! However, if I can get those kind of prices for products, I may just have to pack up and move to Beverly Hills. "Oh HUBBY . . . . !!!!!!" LOL!
  22. Very nice! Lavender is my favorite bath scent!
  23. Too cute! Where do I need to apply in order to get one?!?!? Hahahaha! Hope these are a hit!
  24. Moms! Geez! But what oh what would we do without those free product testers? I know my mom makes a wonderful product tester, always eager, but then again, she always does something with whatever I give her that just makes me cringe and ask "WHY did you do that?" LOL
  25. Those are cute tins . . . but I agree with Carrieg, I wanna see the tree! You have my attention . . . and my mind wandering how I could slide pink into our tree without the hubby noticing!
