    Cyclo is used in dry oil sprays. Perfume consists of carrier oil & fragrance. I've used jojoba & it's worth the extra cost because it provides a smoother glide & the gold color looks richer since the bottle is clear.

    Who is the best supplier for soy? Do you use the same ratio as beeswax? I tried soy once but the mixture did not thicken no matter what I added so I wasted everything. Thank you.

    I added a bit of lanolin as an afterthought which obviously is why specs floated to the top; I remelted it several times which did not help. The balm is great but not something you would sell because the finished product doesn't look professional. Thanks to everyone who replied.

    Is the ratio the same with soy wax? I tried that once but it did not work as the mixture was too thin. I then added beeswax which made it too waxy so I discarded everything. Where do you buy your soy wax? Thank you.

    I made a balm with a very small amt. of lanolin which melted completely; however, after it hardened the lanolin stayed on top which looks molted. What did I do wrong?

    Cetyl esters are less waxy & offers better moisturizing.

    How do you solidify something made with beeswax? Should it be cooled at room temp or put in the refrigerator while warm? I made body butter which did not harden so I refrigerated it & then it hardened but turned into liquid after I took it out. Thank you.

    I made balm with a bit of lanolin but after it cooled, specs of lanolin floated to the top which looks terrible. I remelted it several times & nothing helped.
