  1. I'm looking for a dupe for RA's Cool Fresh Mountain. As there is a Peak Co-op in the works, I'm wondering if Peak Mountain Air would cut it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Peak Eucalyptus leaf... is very very nice... throw is great in PB pillar soy too!!
  3. okay...........hmmm:tiptoe: Maybe I'll get a 4ozer to see if I like it. I did read on here somewhere that JS's smells just like the real flowers... My clients really like the Peak one though... hmmmmmmm. I'm eventually going to have to go for the Peak order though, I use too many of their FO's to try changing them all. They've all been tested, and I don't have time to start retesting everything. Thank you for the response though.. much much appreciated!!
  4. I currently use Peak Sweet Pea, for soap and candles. I just used my last drop of it. There is a Canadian Just Scent Co-op under way, and I was wondering if the Just Scent Sweet Pea compares to Peak ....sniff and use wise. Do they smell the same? Or is one better than the other. I could get some from Peak, but.... they only ship UPS, and I'll get hit with brokerage fees, along with some hefty shipping, so it wouldn't be worth the expense just now for one or two bottles of FO. TIA
  5. Put them in a cooler with Ice paks!! That's what I did last week at an outdoor show. I would put one or two of each CP soap or candles (tealights, votives) on the table, and the rest in the cooler and rotate them through the day... every hour or so. I package my soaps in soap boxes, and yes they sweat. I quickly found that out on the Saturday. So on the Sunday I brought the coolers, and it worked out very nicely!!
  6. I just got on, on the second try. First try was a white screen. I'm running XP Explorer 7.
  7. Way to go Chris!!!! Congrats on both counts, although I'll have to wait to watch the clip, as I'm on dial up here at home!!
  8. Thank you Scented!!! I really do appreciate it!!
  9. Thanks everyone... I just wish I could do the really decent swirlies... like the Jade Mint one, everytime!! Yea... wishful thinking!! I made up a batch of lily of the valley tonight... coloured the main batch green (first time trying it this way) and then used a bit TD for my swirl. Oh boy..... not!!! I'm almost afraid to see what it's going to look like tomorrow!! As for the Green Irish Tweed scent...........hmmmm I'm lousy at describing scents... It is definately manly...a bit woody maybe?? Maybe someone else can chime in here... Mona... I sent you a bar of it ... what's your take on the scent??
  10. There you go... I've posted them in the gallery!!
  11. You were asking to see pics of the mystique. Here you go... and I've added a couple more.. First is the Mystique. See I told you the pink was not there... lol Then one I call Jade Mint, with a number of citrus eo's and peppermint. Then a Green Irish Tweed
  12. I'll finish cleaning up the edges, and wash them then post a pic... but I really wish I hadn't mushed up my swirls... I can hardly see the pink... oh well...
  13. Well, it did and didn't work, all depending on how look at it!! It soaped fantastically... I had plenty of time, but the scent morphed into something really different. I'm not sure what Lovespell is made from but anyway my batch smells like a mix of lavender and grapefruit. I had tried to do an in pot swirl with it using black oxide and pink ultramarine, but I kinda over did with the black swirls and under did it with the pink... It did turn out kinda nice actually... just not quite what I was trying to do, sooooooooooo I've called it Mystique!! Soooooooooo if it doesn't develop DOS or something within the next couple of months and the scent sticks..... it'll be a keeper. But it "ain't" Lovespell!!
  14. Yes I know Peaks is nice... I have used it.. but.. with Peaks shipping via UPS, + brokerage fees, plus duty, for me.. it's just not cost effective anymore to order from them... unfortunately. I had offered a quick canadian co-op a few months back here, but no one responded so I've had to change suppliers a bit.
  15. I still didn't find anything, and I guess no one here has tried it either... sooooooo I called them this morning and even they didn't know how it soaped in CP. Long story short.... I jumped right in and just tried it. It soaped realllllllllly beautifully. I had plenty of time to work with it. And it reallllly smells lovely!!!
  16. so?????????????????? pics please!!!!! Check your emails dear....
  17. I've been searching hi and lo, and I can't find anything....anywhere on Village & Craft scents for CP. Has anyone here tried their FO's in CP.. in particular Love Spell. Any input would realllllllllllllllllly be appreciated!! TIA
  18. There are alot of excellent co-ops here dear, that even with shipping is really worth the while!!!
  19. Actually for what you are going to be wanting to do ....eventually... that wine box would be perfect I think!!
  20. At least now I can get onto the site!! This morning it was taking me to some software development site!!! Weird!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes2 As far as I can see and everywhere I that I have checked... it is "just" the pure 100% soy that they are discontinuing... Why???? Maybe somebody here knows...
  21. What are you going to use as a mold dear?? Shoe boxes do work great!!
  22. Thank you for the wonderful compliments my dear!! I strive to please!!! And I know you are working on your first recipe... don't forget to post pics of your first batch next week!!!
  23. my dear friend mona01 can not post in the OT section of this forum for another 30 days and or 8 posts.... I'd like to welcome her to the soaping forum, where she as a new soaper will surely be doing most of her posts... sooooo Welcome my dear musky!!!
  24. I just checked my own supplier here in Canada and they are discontinuing it too... Is this just the pure soy, or is it all Eco soys....like the CB and PB waxes??? and when you try to get on the ngiwax.com site, they are no longer there!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Please don't delete this :tiptoe: ....I would be interested in knowing the answer myself.
