  1. 180 deg. is to low for this wax. Try again and pour at 199 - 203 deg. This is manufacturers recommendations. Try pre-heating your molds also. I also use a Palm Stearic which works incredible for me. HTH
  2. Those look fabulous! So realistic to stew I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm glad you rectified the F/O as I was thinking...huuummmmm, what supplier would carry Beef Stew. Nice Job!
  3. Very professional looking. Your candles and labelling tie in together very well.
  4. Does anybody use this or used it in the past that can give me some info. Does it have a good scent throw? What type of wicking is best suited for this wax? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
  5. Great Job Tom! Love the ball, very dreamy sky with clouds.
  6. I really like your Scan13 pic, especially the square. Very nice colour combo and neat design also. Where are u from Tom? I'm in Ontario also. Nice to meet other Canadian candlers on this board.
  7. Very nice work. The red one reminds me of my childhood days when mom used to make red jello and add fruit to it.
  8. I get my Peony from Candles and Supplies. Very nice F/O!
  9. Those are very nice looking Sharyl! I bet they do smell yummy! Now I'm hungry.
  10. Those are really nice looking leather pillars! You did a GREAT Job!
  11. Hi Paulette, Very nice...don't you just love this wax. Once question for you though. Is the ball Palm 2 (crystalizing or feathered)? Just curious as I get the same texture with Palm 3 wax. What type of wicks are you using for the votives? I've tried the smallest RRD's and found they have a very large flame. They look very pretty...you did a great job on them all.
  12. BEAUTIFUL work Robin! The sample basket is a great idea. I have an Open House in 4 weeks and I think I'll do that with Bath Bombs. Love your pics...isn't the Canon a GREAT camera. Couldn't live without mine.
  13. Basically my theory on these are: A melt with a wick with an embedded magnet. The magnet gets hot which in turn heats up the plate it's sitting on. The heat from the plate and the flame throws the aroma into the air...but not for as long as mine and everbody elses melts and tarts on this board. And ours are probably cheaper.
  14. I think they look really good! Those will catch the young girls eyes and even the guys!
  15. You did a fabulous job on those. Very unique! I would be tickled pink receiving an invitation like that. You should consider starting a business in Unique Weddings and or Proposals messages and invites.
  16. Beautiful Job!!!!! How long does it take you to do those?
  17. Very Nice Work! You'll have no problems selling!
  18. I like those chunky pillars and your presentation is very pretty.
