Sorry, never heard of them. No help.

Would likely be a huge liability. Better have good insurance. Wax would likely seep through the sand and still be hot.

From all the sites you guys have tried. Which site did you find to have the best smelling fragrances? Curios because some sites have the same fragrances but it looks like they add different notes to each.
There is no such thing as using one company for all your fragrances at least not for me. Even the same scent varies from one company to another and you will want to find the one you like best. Now, I don't make candles but B&B products. I have been able to pretty much narrow down my FO's to about 3-4 companies. But, it's taken years to get here. I'm still always trying some new ones from other companies. One thing I do try to do is keep the companies I purchase from closer to home. That saves on shipping and the time it takes to get to me.

I don't know if you have a dollar tree around but they have little plastic tubs with lids in round and square. There are 10 for 1.00. I put little lotion bars in there or just fill the cup. They work great. Not sure if it will hold yours, depending on the size round it is. I mostly make my lotion bars in roll-up or push up tubes.

I really like you candle/labels. Even if you don't have a website put your email or phone # so they know where to get another one. Many times they lose the business card but the information is not lost it is on the candle or product itself.

You're off to a great start. Height would help. Crates work great for that too. I would put your fragrance sign behind the melts so that you can see those up front. You'll find yourself tweaking your display every time you do a show. I still adjust mine frequently.

Your display and labels are lovely! Very appealing to the eye.

I've tried a couple different chocolates and fudge nut brownies. Chocolate soaps did not sell. Even when I made them in cupcakes it was a no go in my area. I can't sell foodies scents here.

I pretty much only make coconut milk soap as well. I do make a couple goats milk. I have two unscented, 1 colored 1 not colored.

They did some type of data base search when I took in my business name. They then gave me a certificate as a DBA.

As long as they smell okay you should be fine. I have several I only make during the holidays and they are probably 3-4 years old now. They are basically FO's that are lip safe. And like FO if they smell good go for it.

It's going to vary from state to state maybe even county to county. Check with your City Clerk office. I just had to pay 25.00 and they run a check on the business name. You are then yourself doing business as. I didn't have to get an IRS EIN#. I file with my personal taxes. Insurance is a must as well. I had to also get a Sales Tax ID# and pay them yearly. Again, it will vary depending on where you are.

Good luck! Take notes of things you want to change/adjust while at the show. Sounds like you've done your homework now to just do it and enjoy yourself. I love doing my shows. I like the interaction and love telling people about what I like doing most.

I too have seen an increase in debit/cc payments this year. I think customers as fairs/shows appreciate the option since so many don't accept cc payments, so they use their cards at those that do to keep cash in their pockets for one that doesn't take cards. I know when I visit shows I bring money, but like the option of using a cc if needed at some vendors.

First I have to say I don't make candles. I make soap and scrubs with it and it's on of my biggest sellers. I do baby shower & bridal shower favors and almost every time the customer picks this as one of their scents. It's a mild vanilla and has what you would think champagne bubbles would smell like...maybe a bit like sprite soda. My husband took a bar and it's one of his favorites in the shower as he said it smells clean. It smells bubbly....I would be happy to send you a small sample if you like.

I don't make candles, but, do you think maybe it's an excuse to bring someone else in who may be charging less? Just a thought.

I too use the water dispersible TD from Nurture. I just have not had any luck with oil dispersible TD unless I pre mixed it a couple days ahead of time and strained it as I poured into my batter.

I too was hoping for a better sale. I only get a couple FO's from them but get jars and lids for my scrubs.

@Marleigha, is there a coupon code? I put a bunch of oils in my cart (they sound amazing!), but it's not showing any discount, except for one that is on clearance.
Thanks for enabling 😁
Blackfriday18 is the code.

Why does it irritate me so much that there is no fragrance descriptions..... 😩
They do have fragrance descriptions. They are small print but there.

I too like the combo of bubbly oils. I generally combine PKO and CO. I've never tried Babassu. Sorry for the car problems and running out of CO. Hope it's resolved soon and not to pocket draining.
