  1. Hey everyone, I just wanted to share with you all, that Vista Prints is having an awesome sale on Brochures and such. I was going to place an order yesterday and decided to wait, and glad I did. Just thought I'd share.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  2. My husband and I are have a yard sale this weekend and he thinks that I should put out my candles. I don't think people will be interested. Most people that go garage saling want a deal and I am not willing to sell a jar candle for $1. But I might be willing to give it a try. So what do you all think? Would you do this? Have you done this?

    TIA

  3. the tarts look great. Are these pictures your putting on your website or in a catalog?

Hi NYcandles. I am currently working on a brochure and will probably incorporate these pictures into a website as well. I had a website before but was not happy with it, so I took it down and decided to start from scratch again.

  4. I really like the photo for the tarts. The other I'm not that keen on the rose flowers being combined with the containers unless they come together with a purchase. I think I would rather see a display with the floaters/roses instead. And the rack these sit on just make me think bars and cold ... now that doesn't mean my mood won't change and I might think of it differently later, but this was my first impression.

Thanks Scented. This is why I posted the pics..needed feedback. I think I have a really nice bowl that I can display the floaters in. Maybe just nix the group pic of the jars all together. Thanks again guys. :wink2:

  5. I really like the back ground but I agree with Scented on the rose petals. You don't want to take away from the product.

    Nice work!!!!

Thanks...I am awful when it comes to pictures and thought some petals might give it a little color. When I get home I will try a picture with just the candle. I didn't know if it would be too plain. Thanks again guys. :wink2:

  6. OK I'm caught up in it. What's the red you're decorating with? Satin or something else? I was trying to figure out what it was how it related to the candle other than to provide color. If it's rose, well I didn't get a rose petal feel and maybe that's not what you were intending. Not trying to be a jerk about it, just I got to paying more attention to what the other red was than anything else in the picture.

Hey Scented. The red (stuff :) ) is those silk rose petals. I just figured it needed some color. ;)

  7. I like both kind of jars. i have seen them like deputy's at dollar store. my question is...do you shrink wrap the tarts before you put them in jars ? or do you just put them in the 3x3 bags as the customer buys them, i know you can't mix scents. someone on here had their tarts in pickle jars, we don't eat that many pickles , just dh and i.

When I first put them in the jars I didn't shrink wrap them, but they get the jar all :tongue2: , So I started shrink wrapping them. Sucks but it keeps the jars clean.

  8. OH...those are cute...how much were they each?

The ones with the wooden lids I bought years ago and have yet to see them again. When i searched online at Walmart they have a 3 piece set that you can personalize (that might be interesting), but they were a little expensive. The one with the metal lid, I just bought a couple of months ago at Walmart and I think I paid $3 for it. But I am really liking Deputy's idea.
