1. organize (my room is just a big pile of stuff)
Yeah I organized...I kicked my husband into the basement and took over the guest room and turned his office into the guest room. (check)
2. redo labels
Definately did this. I am very please with the new label that I have done.
3. do more craft shows and home parties (have lots of people interested in these)
Didn't do this...still a little timid about shows, but definately planning on adding this to my to do list this next year. Already have an open house planned for the first week in January.
4. start testing balmoral jars (really like these and might want to add to line)
Did this and glad I did. People love them and I love them as well.
5. start playing around with CP
Didn't do this....still too chicken. Just started working more with MP soap.
2007....
Try and get some wholesale and fundraisers and maybe try and do some wedding centerpieces. That's it for this year. I am happy with how this last year went. I make almost 4 times what I did last year and hope to just keep growing. Good luck to everyone and their resolutions...Happy Holiday and everyone have a great new year.

I love the labels and the scent name is cool.

I personally would have emailed her immediately and said:
"Oh so you no longer work for XYZ company and now work for ABC company? Please stop wasting my time."
And have to agree with Donna about telling her you will contact the insurance company about her using their name to scam people out of information.
I do not play around with these type of people.

Awesome display. Love the sign. Also, I like how big your price signs are. (Might steal that idea ) I always have people asking how much something is and there are signs all over my table.
I hope you did well, because I would definately stop and "smell"

Awesome. Thank you all.

Thank you. I wanted to order some, but wasn't sure how the heck to get a wick into it.
Thanks again.

How do you wick a silicone mold? Is there already a hole in the mold. Forgive me I have never seen a silicone mold in person.

Personally opinion.....
You have not even tested these and you are going to sell them to someone?? Are you looking for trouble? I hope that nothing bad happens to your customer because you did not properly test your candle. Not all candles are the same, especially if you are using a different wax. I think that you should take the previous advice and cancel the order or at least see if your boss can wait until you get your normal wax in.
Okay, coming off of my soap box.

I need to melt down the wax in a jar...I know that I can place it is the oven, but what temp should I set the oven at?

Okay, I thought I saw a thread awhile back about being able to use the long wooden molds for M&P soap, but now I can't find it. So basically that is my question. Can I pour my M&P soap in my wooden mold as long as I cover it first (obviously)?:embarasse
TIA

Okay another post.....I absolutely love the pictures. Did you take them yourself? It makes it interesting to look at. I think I will be back to your site to buy some soap. The "gee your hair smells terrific" sound interesting.

I got the big account..he's ready to go, sending me some more samples of the new products. I'll be making him around 150-400 candles per day depending on demand. :whoohoo:
That is so awesome. Congrat and good luck.

Yup, that's the one. I hear from them, like monthly. Each time the email comes from a different person and mentions different items/scents they are interested in. I googled them and from what I read, it's best to stay away from them. Apparently others who signed on paid quite a big fee but nothing ever got done for them i.e. no extra sales were realized after paying the fee.
It just sucks that there are people out there like that. You never know who to trust anymore. My DH says if they aren't local or no one recommends them, then forget it.
OH Well!!! Thanks everyone

Okay, that was one of the things I thought of. I can't center a wick to save my life without a wick pin. Thanks for the feedback.
