I am still a newby with incense, but I have been making the sticks for 2 months now. Trust me when I tell you that the sticks will soak up the solution. It took anywhere from a day to almost a week on some fragrances. I know it does not seem like alot is in the jars, but it does work.

These came out of the pot Wednesday after class. They are scented chocolate and I was going for a chocolate - caramel look. I think I got it.

This is from BCN

Love the color. How's the throw on this stuff? Last time I used a palm wax the throw was far from impressive. That was several years ago though.
Awesome cold throw. Good hot throw. But it tunnelled like crazy. I will need to wick up. Thanks everyone for the comments.

Thanks everyone. I think I will definately invest in some more of this wax. I am really loving it. Now off to test burn that baby.

Nice looking candle. I like working with feathered palm wax. You never know how it's going to turn out. Almost every color I've done has a different pattern to it.
Oh I didn't know that. I am going to have to get some more and play!!!

I really like your candle. I saw a demonstration at a recent convention, where they took a blow torch (you can use a heat gun) to a chunk candle to help bring out the chunks. I have never done this, but I did see it done and it was really neat. Maybe give it a try.

Nice!! Yes, what did you color with?
Jeri
I use a liquid dye that came from the company that sold me the kit. I did notice that it is starting to change back to green alittle bit.
-
Thanks everyone. I used a wooden soap mold that was in the kit. The swirls were pure luck. I did an in the pot swirl and prayed. LOL:laugh2:
