That is a great idea Portia! Thanks I will give it a try. It has been a while since I last made them, but last time I think that I added the citric acid last and I had no problem. I will keep trying.
For you experienced bombers....when your bath bombs crumble and they are still quite dry, can you mix it with more oil and remold? Has anyone ever tried this?
Thanks...you guys are great. I am going to try some now, but without the water. I have both witch hazel and alcohol, but I will first increase my oil content slightly and see if that helps. Thanks!
How is it that when I make a batch, my first 2-3 bombs turn out beautiful yet the rest of them from the same batch crack or crumble??? Not enough liquid? I have decided to now offer fizzing flakes too. LOL
I always test burn myself first, then I will have my mom or sister test burn. After that, I put them out there as samples with purchase and get feed back that way. HTH
For me it is the complete opposite, 65% sales for Christmas and 35% for the balance of the year. Mine has already started too, with fundraising bookings and craft show invites.
I agree that there are benefits to adding Crisco, but I did not like that there is more sooting with it. And it can throw off some fragrances. You have to test.
I have never had a problem with CanWax....I would suggest that you call and ask to talk to SJ to clear it up. They are a great supplier, with awesome products. HTH
I get the same thing....so you are not alone. Also, the jar looks cloudy as all the wax does not welt down, but it is not hangup. I am interested in a solution too.
