    What soy did you add to it and what was the melt point?

    laura The 423 needs to be poured at a hotter temp. I would try between 175 and 200. 175 for tarts and 200 for votives and pillars. Release from the tart and votive molds as soon as time allows. HTH

    The stearines will not help in smoothing the tops. They are used in blending to make the wax harder, or to raise the melt points.

    ADSOY, I am finding people are having luck pouring as follows: Blends: 444- between 135-145 449- between 150-160 423- between 165-175 Soy: 402- between 100-110 415- between 100-110 435 (soy/cotton) between 100-110 Folks, let me know if you feel this is not right, or if you have had better luck pouring at different temps.     Linda, I have heard of a couple people having alot of luck pouring votives with the 423. I have been told it is best to pour at 175 and to fill the mold all the way to the top. I hope this helps. Jason

    itsallgood, Most people are not having any luck with BW. it looks like you poured this way to cool. Most are having luck around 135-140. Someone even had alot of luck pouring at 165. Jason
