You don't want to wait till a layer is cool before you pour.

I have heard they do not stick very well although I have not used them. I use wick stickums and they've been doing good so far.
-
I also got mine off ebay, a postal scale, and paid about $30 (with shipping).

Actually I edited one to fit my needs. Want me to send it? If so, send it to the e-mail in your sig?

If you do a google search there are tons of ideas. Just try searching "candle party games."

My friend has requested this hurricane as a little gift for her nephew's wedding. They are getting married soon and I guess had this collage done, and I put it into a hurricane. Oh, I haven't leveled out the top yet.

and maybe this is a figment on my imagination, but I think the way the edge of the top of the concave is helps it burn better. JMO!
lol....now see, I think the opposite. When I was choosing between the 2, I would think it would make the burn a little off more because of the angle of the sides. I went with flat top for this reason, but I do think the concave looks a "tiny" bit nicer. I personally think it's just a preference.

I know they do and there's nothing we can do about it,
Actually, you can not do business with them anymore
I think that's the best way to get back at a company.

I don't have much stock, but I've noticed that my containers are sweating after sitting there after a couple weeks. I never use more than 1 oz. pp of FO. Is this because it's summer? Does anybody else have this problem - and if so, what do you do to make it presentable again?
Thanks!

I use the chips, and am trying the liquid right now. To me, it's a little hard with liquid because I can't get the same size little drop each time. I really like the chips & think I might stick with them - I just melt them in my pour pot before I pour the wax in. The reds and some blue/greens leave the little flakes that won't melt, so I'll use the liquid with that.

I didn't have an experience with anything having to do with candles....
I work in payroll, and answer the phone "Payroll, this is Angela." Well my boyfriend used to call me every morning when he was in the navy on the east coast (3 hour time difference). He'd call at like 7 or so his time, which is about 4am my time. I heard the phone ring, I rolled over (still asleep), and answered "Payroll, this is Angela." He sat there for a minute and started laughing....so did I after I realized what the heck I said.
Sometimes I guess we get too involved with work huh?

Maybe this'll help? Riser Instructions
I got it from the old board.

Yup - doesn't she go by Tanya now?

Holy cow - I envy you!! I WISH I had shelves like that.

Those are awesome!! Keep up the great work!

I agree with the cello/cardstock packaging.

I haven't done these too much....but at first, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a large bucket. lol....I don't know what I was thinking - it took way too much darn water to fill that thing up. I now use those hard plastic lunch boxes, like a Coleman.....it's a perfect size for a hurricane, IMO.

It affects me because I don't feel like doing much when it's hot, especially being around more heat. I did go make some last night, and my wax was really slippery & gooey.

When I use dark oils, they sometimes come out in the soap, discoloring it and making it look funky. Does this happen to anybody else?
Thanks.

I use Microsoft Publisher (am FAR from completing it though). Don't know if I'll print my own or have them done when it is completed.

i put mine in the vellum envelope and seel them for 2.50. it holds about an ounce
How do you make any money off of this then, if just the confetti alone costs $1.06 & you're only selling it for $2.50?
-
How much do you put in a package & price it at? It would be approximately $1.06 + packaging, would you put a full ounce in the package?

Where did you read about it exploding? All jars can explode if they are not made right. Unless there's a recall on them, I would continue using them.
