  4. I like igi 4807, It is very versitile for pillars, but its probably not good for votives. For a glossy finish I add 1 tsp. vybar103 and 2 T stearic acid per pound. I use igi 4630 for my votives, it is a one-pour and holds fragrance well. Hope this helps you. Sal

  6. Hello everybody. I developed my best looking pillar last night, but when I woke up this morning I noticed it had developed small pinholes everywhere. Even the bottom. Can anyone help me? Here is what I used. Igi 4807-1pound vybar103-1/2 teaspoon stearic-3 tablespoon uv-1/8 teaspoon black cherry FO-22 grams liguid dye-blood red and amethyst Thanks for the help Sal

  8. If you are looking for value, you can get those same style crimpers at Sears in Companion brand for eight dollars.
  9. I'm not an expert on what molds you can use, but I have seen molds for sale that say they are for hurricanes. http://www.peakcandle.com. Look under mold section to find hurricanes. I think the molds are just missing wick holes. Hope this helps. Sal

  11. I'm not sure, but it sounds possible. Thats a chemistry question. I think that the burning could alter the chemical composition. I really don't now what i'm talking about, but it sure sounds good. L.O.L.
