I'm just wondering, are there any advantages in using wooden wicks other than maybe just the crackling noises, probably even hardly heard. Does wax burn better with wooden wicks ? I have never tried. Is it worth trying ? Any thoughts ? Thanks, Gabriel

I always blend the Soy PB with 3 to 5% Beeswax This makes the PB stronger, more coherent, does not crack and does not change the throw properties.

I joined the club recently after hanging around for sometime. I find this a very pleasant and friendly place to be. I'm not a newbie but a longtime hobbyist of wax, candles, wicks, aromatherapy and you name what else in this fun activity. Nothing relaxes more than making candles and lighting them in the evenings... it is hypnotizing at times. Thanks for having me. Gabriel
