  1. Yea it was one of them gold canyon jars. It had 2 wicks in it before so I figured why not! Lol the wide mouth on the other hand was when I first started making candles
  2. I've double wicked a 16oz tin with 51's but have yet to burn it. I did fill a 26oz jar once for a friend and double wicked with 51's and he said it burned great. Other then that I only use 8 & 16oz jelly/mason jars. OH...I did double with a wide mouth mason jar once...and let's just say LOL:laugh2:It was a FIREBALL!
  3. I use the 4627 as well, but I heat to 195-200, add dye then oil and try my best to pour at 180. I use Zinc wicks though, but always have an amazing HT & CT..maybe pour a bit hotter?
  4. I have a box of this http://candlemakingsupplies.net/candle-wax/soy-wax---natural-candle-wax/cate_149/p___Z48CO000.html I got this wax along with a lot of other stuff from a lady going out of business..How do I wick it? Was thinking CD's? Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Would it do well as a wickless? What is the F.O. % load? Thanks for any help you can offer!
  5. BCN had them for $2.50 http://cart.candlesupply.com/Ceramic-Bowl-for-Candle-Warmer-pr-20356.html

  7. OK, thank you! I just found some 3022 & 3020 that I still haven't tried yet..hmmm I'm glad I enjoy this hobby so much cuz it sure costs an arm and a leg! HA
  8. Ok, I'd like to try and make a wickless 8 oz jelly jar candle..can I use any of these waxes I have on had and if so, which ones? Should I blend a certain 2 or 3? IGI 4786 IGI 4627 IGI 4630 KY 133 KY Parasoy tart/votive blend J-225 CBL-125
  9. I tried a couple of there scents, and I wasn't thrilled with them. Very LIGHT throw in my 4627. I too was going to start getting my wax from them, but by the time you add IL sales tax and shipping on top of the higher cost per case of wax, I'm paying the same from Bittercreek or Aztec.
  10. What wicks do you suggest for these two waxes in 4, 8 & 16 oz jelly jars? I've had the samples a week now, I want to play with them just need to know where to start. I have ECO8-14, HTP 83, CD 10-12, paper core sampler from BCN and zinc 44-61. Would any of them work? Thanks, Heather
  11. I have an 8 oz wicked jar and I end up making a rainbow candle when its full..then my daughter burns it in her room...she loves them!
  12. The Amish Quilt is AMAZING and its good for any time of year... Toasted Marshmellow is awesome as well Bonfire bliss has also been a big hit, its more fall like but with a wooden wick..its gonna be perfect cracking away during the snowy nights in =) Winter breeze is good as well. Frosty pines will knock your socks off if you like the tree scent
  13. I just started using this wax for my clamshells and they turned out perfect and were so pretty! I did notice the dimples so with my next batch I waited until most of the wax harded then just topped them off with the little bit I had left..and did another batch with a bit of 4630 thrown in to create a one pour..worked like a charm =)
  14. I get there Cran-Grape for myself I like it but... I wish it was stronger, I've gotten their liquid dyes as well and I swear they are watered down! I have yet to get the actual color the bottle says it is..they are all LIGHT..I want GRAPE not lilac =(
  15. Making some AH/RE Amish Quilt which is one my all time favs and BEST seller.. Some Drakkar, Mt. Dew, and use up some of my fall/holidays samples from RE!
  16. I have the pet spritz as well..I added NG's Pearberry in one and Curve for men in the other they both smell AWESOME! I've never seen any "instructions" for it though..so I'm not sure if I even did it right since for whatever reason the FP on the bottle is 200* and the linen/body spray has no FP listed? I've been meaning to email them and ask, just haven't gotten around to it...
