ladysj
I was wondering if anyone makes chunk pillars with this wax. Since it is such a brittle wax do you have any problems with it? I mean as far as cutting the chunks or shapes. Edited September 27, 2012 by ladysj
Chefmom
I have not cut chunks or anything, but if I were to do it exclusively with this wax I would pour the chunk wax into some little mold. I don't think you could cut a slab of it without it just breaking into shards.
ksranch
Couldn't you cut it before it was completely hard? I mean, I use pariffin but I use a really hard one to make chunks and just pour into a cookie sheet and then cut chunks before it hardens completely. But, I don't know about that wax... moonshine
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/c/ref=aw_d_c_kitchenI bought these a couple days ago- I use PB with container wax and tried pouring into 9X13 pan and used a pizza cutter.... Let's just say they were not perfect! I tried again while soft but it still was not great so I am hoping these will be a breeze- I love chunk votives! MrsPacNW
How come it takes me to my own shopping cart at Amazon... LOL how'd you get that. Um yes pretty brittle wax.. the soft still warm almost set might work..but I'm guessing the "mold" that's on amazon would be the best idea.
