blt212
Anyone know where these can be purchased? I used to get them at Candles and Supplies but now they only carry larger ones. These fit the 8oz or 16oz Mason or Jelly Jars....I would even consider having a custom ones made with my logo stamped out but I don't know what or if any companies would do that....Feedback appreciated. Thanks
bells4shells
It may be a long shot, but I'd contact C & S. If they don't plan to carry the smaller size again, ask if they would let you know their supplier so you can get something custom made. If not that, I found this metal manufacturer that may be able to help:http://www.cameometal.com/main.htmI just did a search for 'metal lid manufacturer candle'. blt212
Thank you so much for the quick reply, suggestion and info. I searched for everything under the sun except the obvious, metal lid mfg"....calling C&S is a good idea too!
HorseScentS
Can you burn the candle with that vented lid on there? What's it for?
blt212
Yes you can burn the candle with it on....it's metal. Does get hot but looks nice. Yankee sells the domed vented lids, same concept.

And the customer doesn't have the option to burn it without the lid once it's been wicked for the lid? I like it, I'm just wondering exactly how it works. I saw a demonstration of that at Yankee one time.
blt212
Thanks will check out addtl info. I never had to change the wicking when using the lid. It's really more of a decorative thing for me than anything to do with soot. I don't get sooting whether it's used or not as long as customers don't let the wick get really long....I think they're cute and cast a nice shadow in dim lit rooms.
